| noni LG chapter 1 . 7/22/2009
it's interesting to see things from RPOV as we only have a glance abt her POV in the book. it's bitter sweet part of Rosalie Hale. waiting for the next chapters to come.
| mugglemom08 chapter 1 . 7/3/2009
I don't usually read stuff written from RPOV, but that was really good.
| pixiekat7 chapter 1 . 6/3/2009
Very interesting concept. This chapter was so perfectly Rosalie, to a T. Simply amazing.
| ReesesaysbitemeEdwardcullen chapter 1 . 5/30/2009
I loved how u showed her point of view on the relationship of edward and bella. Especially how she was envious of the fact that he should've desired her in the first place. Awesomeness. Loved it!
| scarletoctopus chapter 1 . 5/17/2009
That was immense. It was really good and has to be one of the best Rosalie fics I've read, her emotions are so out there and very clear, the jealousy, hatred, selfishness.
I properly understand her now, I mean I never really got her even in the SM stories but this fic explains her more, I think.
I love how Emmett is always there for her, how he soothes her and loves her.
Bella and Edward's relationship from her eyes is very interesting as well, its more, how do I put... its more I dont know how to explain it but its more out there if you get what I mean... its like her point of view shows all the pent up lust and love that's between them.
Anyway great fic!
| azotochtli chapter 1 . 5/16/2009
This was beautifully written! I really liked how she is trying to rid herself of what she realized was a horrible thing... how she thought of herself as the better one to realize that all this time she had been the pusher towards the dark... it was wonderful... I can't wait to read the other 6 sins.
| saraamin chapter 1 . 5/3/2009
hello! this one was tragic but cool in a way that she felt defeated and had to let go...
hope we will be able to read the other sins hihi
thanks for this one either way :)
| TheVelvetVoice chapter 1 . 4/20/2009
so beautifully written. sigh.
| Sivaroobini Lupin-Black chapter 1 . 3/30/2009
Wow. I mean, I had wondered about Rosalie, but you really brought depth to her, without making her OOC. I almost cried near the end, as she made her desperate leap for freedom.
Emmett and Rosalie are the couple least explored in fanfiction, and you really brought out how much they love each other, while keeping it true to what they see in the books.
I've been lurking at Creature of Habit, which is REALLY good (although does Edward carry a lighter around with him? How did he light Bree on fire?) and then I went to your profile earlier today and read some of your other fics.
Although I enjoy Twilight, and, I admit, have often dreamed of Edward, I never wanted to be a vampire, when I thought about it - sure, the speed and senses and looks would make me happy but I don't want to live off blood or even live forever; I want to die in peace someday and satisfy my curiosity about what comes after death. And since you can't have a vampire lover without being one yourself, I may be the only Twilight fangirl around who's sat down, considered it, and decided that despite all the perks, she does not want to date a vampire and become one herself.
And only your Creature of Habit made me doubt that resolve.
I look forward to the next chapter of CoH! I read two or three of your AHAU oneshots (you know, Ahau was the name of a month in the Mayan calendar - 4 Ahau 3 Kankin corresponds to 23rd December 2012. Yes, I am a total nerd.) and really enjoyed them - interesting takes on characters, with details from canon thrown in, but not a typical AH AU where James is her mean ex/someone who tries to get funny with her, Alice is her hyper best friend, Jacob is her friend who dates her briefly/tries to get funny with her, and Tanya is a bitch trying to get Edward, who's generally either a playboy or unbelievably perfect.
The Twilight fandom is full of horrible writers, and some who are okay, and some who'll be good with practice - and a select few like you, who really are good.
Also, "From my tiny Nazi Christmas elf sister." may be the best line describing Alice ever! ;P
| sarky-devotchka chapter 1 . 3/30/2009
Great...Very insightful to Rosalie's character. Kuddo's to ya!
| saya.sen chapter 1 . 3/16/2009
Okay, the conversation I've always wanted Bella and Rosalie to have: if she had a choice between having to give up Emmet and remain human or living with him for the rest of eternity, what would she pick? Because really, she did get at least half of her happy ending. She got the husband who adores her for her and not just for her body, though he adores that too... and if she hadn't been turned, she would have died the worst possible death with nothing from the dream she had wanted. So seriously, her fate didn't seem that bad to me. And, having met Emmet, would she really give him up for a chance at a child with a man she couldn't love half as much? That's the sacrifice she's asking Bella to make, to tear herself in two for the chance at that. It doesn't seem worth it to me.
| Sonia Mari chapter 1 . 3/15/2009
Wow... That was really awesome. Downright powerful even
I really enjoyed it :) Thank u
| chrom chapter 1 . 3/7/2009
It's good to see Rose finally getting rid of her demones.
thank you for writing from her point of view.
Loving Emmett is so cute :-)
And Jasper saying about Edward "emitting one hundred year old, unadulterated, virgin lust" got me giggle :P
| aly e chapter 1 . 3/5/2009
Wow, that was amazing. Ya, she had is coming - I agree.
Love the line - "Alice, Edwards second mother" hehehe
I also love the idea of Rose thinking that Bella is braver than the rest since she is making her choice out of love where the others haid it foisted upon them - How true is that.
Never thought of it that way - I need to share that with the friends that I have that were totally against her becoming a vampire (mainly the Team Jacob friends - yes, they are still considered friends even though)
| alisa231 chapter 1 . 3/5/2009
You did great justice to Rosalie's character. I always thought she had potential to be a multi faceted character...
I absolutely adore the way you wrote her relationship with Edward. They are eerily similar if you think about it -striking beauty, fierce loyalty, and they both hate being vampires. The similarity between the two was beautifully expressed.
The depth you gave Rosalie is commendable. The way you showed that her hatred of Bella and Edward's relationship reflects her hatred of herself was powerful.
The line about Alice being Edward's other mother was fitting.
I particularly enjoyed how you built on scenes and moments that were hinted at in the series. For instance, the moment when Edward returns from his hunt and he tells Bella that Rosalie had already talked to him...you gave so much depth to that scene. Edward's actions make complete sense in that respect.
The ending was beautiful. Poetic. The imagery was wonderful.
Wonderful job. )
