OMFG! LOVED it so much!LOVED that he met Emmett and got some insight on how to act like a swaggering jackass from him! HAHA! When we got his pov about him and his whinny like a horse! I was laughing so damned hard. Poor Edward! If he only knew that he affects Bella the same way she affects him!LOVE how Bella and Edward interacted with eachother. LOVE your story and am looking forwardto the next update!

I'm glad to have the whinny explained. That was - odd. But the system reboot thing was hilarious! I'm not sure I like Emmett's advice or not, the whole jackass thing. We'll see how it plays out I guess!
Thanks for the update!

I heard about this story when I was reading "Frenemies". It looks really good so far! I'm a little concerned that Bella and Edward and not being themselves with each other, but that's the whole point of this story so far, right? lol I'm really looking forward to where this takes us.

Emmett! I hope he's able to become a regular, somehow. Leave it to Emmett to be all sage and shit. And studying to be a lawyer; I love it.
Modern day Mr. Rogers! Ha! I have to say that Edward Cullen in his many variations has somehow brought back crazy sexiness to button-down shirts.
I love that he threw Clarice Starling into his list of chicks - what an interesting choice.
"I spend another moment or two sobering the fuck up and rejoining the here-and-now." You've got this wicked way with words. Me gusta mucho. This is awesome, also: "Nobody deserves to be whinnied at by a semi-psychotic theater-loving social misfit, least of all this beautiful girl."
So interesting that the rubber band room effect from the previous chapter was so different on his side - that it calmed him.
I've never been a Shakespeare girl. Dunno why... maybe it was that my high school teachers just trashed it and I never recovered? Whatever it was, I have never enjoyed it and never truly understood it in it's original form. Which sucks, because I know it's good stuff. So... I'm doing this scriptwriting thing next month. 100 page script in 30 days. I have a novel picked out to adapt but I'm not thrilled with my choice and have been looking for something else... so... I just went out and picked up a copy of MAAN... admittedly one of those ones with the side-by-side translation (I told you I was no good at Shakespeare). Now I have two weeks to read it and figure it out. From what I have gleaned from your story, it sounds like my sort of thing, and now I'm a bit more excited about next month. Thanks for the idea :)

Oh my god, the whinnying line almost killed me. As did "I am a fucking rock star" after her verbal gaffe.
The rubber band room effect? Great way to describe what she's feeling.
I love her Beatrice armor! And I was just shopping and saw something so similar. Was crazy tempted to buy it :)
Such great lines, like this one: "I suspect that Edward smiling would cause the lust sublimation I experience in his presence to shift into hyperdrive and carry me all the way to the nearest convenient morgue."
So well written and enjoyable :)

“No, I’m really not, I promise you. I’m not a conceited jackass. I’m a persistent jackass, and there’s a big difference.” I love their banter. Can't wait for Act I.

“Let’s take a stroll around the room, shall we?” - I don't know if it was the culmination of all of the other things he said, but this line just cracked me up so much, I love socially dysfunctional Edward.
Great chapter, I'm really looking forward to seeing what Bella thinks of his jackass swagger.

Bardward. hahahahaha. I love how Emmett ends up being his Jiminy Cricket. That's so Em, isn't it? Looks like Pinnochioward is on his way to being a real boy after all. ;)
| Lissa Rae chapter 5 . 3/15/2009
So you've taken my favorite characters, and my favorite play, and combined them into this wonderful, perfect little story. It makes me want to have a "Much Ado" day, where I pull out my copy and read it again, then watch the movie. So I think that's what I'll do today.
| ElleCC chapter 2 . 3/15/2009
LOVE the scene with them reading lines! The line interpretation was so good.
You write so well. Very witty - and the wittiness just sorta just sneaks up on you. "I need you to TiVo the Jasper thing" made me laugh out loud.
| ElleCC chapter 3 . 3/15/2009
The whole thing about wanting to be a real boy is sad... poor Edward, that he has to pretend to be someone in order to be anyone at all.
The chemistry between them is hot and intense... I love it. I'm happy to see she had the same affect on him that he had on her, and that he freaked out because of that and not for some other reason. Um. Sorry, that probably doesn't make any sense :)
Great chapter - glad to see the EPOV.

This is a great story! I love your Daniel Gale-esque Edward. Can't wait to see where it all goes!
