![]() ![]() Originally you were trying to keep harry and Ginny together, now youve discovered how much you enjoy shitting on her thays not going to happen. |
![]() ![]() Its becoming more and more obvious how much you hate both Ginny and Ron. Like their character arcs in the latter books dont matter at all. You enjoy shitting on them. |
![]() ![]() I need to know, how much did you change ginnys character into this? Or do you actually believe that canon Ginny is an ignorant and hateful psychopath? |
![]() ![]() Why are you not a fan of Ginny/Harry? I never got why people disliked her so much. She's an awesome and dynamic character and she matches well with harry. The most anyone can ever say why they dont like her is because she was shy around him in the first few books. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I just caught up on the last ten or so chapters and have to say I really enjoyed re-immersing myself in this story. I hope you find more ease in channeling creativity soon. The mention of Utah in one of the last few chapters had me thinking of Lake Silencio, though I suppose that with Harry very much being his own character an invite would probably not be forthcoming. Visiting New York later in the 40s was a lovely thing to have a chapter for, and as that work around is something I had wondered about when the episode aired it was great to see brought into being. |
![]() ![]() ![]() has Harry considered magical truth serum only need three drops |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love this story a whole bunch, but I do have to point out, Krasko didn't escape stormcage, he was actually legitimately released. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hmm. Well done, though personally, I thought that Amy and Rory could have been extracted relatively easily with a bit of lateral thinking - the letters could have been written and posted later, the graves faked. The only hiccup is the adopted son, and that wasn't included in the final cut. You explained why not fairly well, but even still. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved it! You’re doing great. I know it can be hard to get back in the groove of things, especially with how everything is going but I loved it. Definitely wouldn’t mind if you took a break and threw a little attention at BOK too though! Thanks for the update and stay safe! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Tegan comes off really poorly here. She asks Harry for a rather large favor, then seems to question and complain about how he provides that favor basically the entire time. Then goes off at Oswin (which I suppose is somewhat understandable) but it's not like Oswin wasn't a dalek the whole time and she hasn't been exterminated yet. |
![]() ![]() ![]() It's interesting to me that Harry (like the Doctor) assumes that Amy and Rory are trapped in the 1940s simply because their grave stones exist in the future. Go back and look at those gravestones sometime (just google Amy Rory gravestone). First of all, it has both their names on a single grave stone like they were buried on top of one another, which is weird. But more importantly, it just has their names and ages at time of death. I have never in my life heard of a gravestone that didn't have a death-date on it. And in the previous season's finale (Wedding of River Song), the Doctor flat-out cheats a fixed moment in time by using the Tessalecta to fake his own death long enough to satisfy all the stories saying River murdered him at Lake Silencio. So I've always had this idea that some future Doctor rescues Rory and Amy but arranges for the fake headstone to be put into place in order to trick his younger self into thinking that they died in a fixed moment so he doesn't go back and try to rescue them before it's possible to do so. |
![]() ![]() ![]() The whole reminder of how "Viewing or learning a thing will lock it" works... I can't help but remember how Harry refused to watch that time lord's death when he dropped the saucer on him. I wonder if part of including this reminder of how things work was doing the legwork to explain that guys eventual reappearance. He could be Harry's own version of The Master! Except without all the moments of friendship lol I'm curious where the paradox faction stuff is going. They keep showing up and I can't tell if that's more to flesh out the world or if you're setting something up. I haven't watched those seasons, so I hope it does come up since this story is my only experience with them. And Tegan... I could totally see her wanting to work with or for Harry. She didn't want to travel with the doctor for reasons she noticed didn't apply to Harry. So if she has the urge or desire to travel again or interact with this kind of life Harry's kind of her only option. I would enjoy being able to learn more about her character and there's enough going on there to be interesting. Though perhaps Harry doesn't need someone doing the whole companion bit like she did in this one. "What?" "Who are they?" "Tell me!" and etc lol Thanks for the update! I'm continuing to enjoy this downtime after all the crazy big drama! |
