| Quacked Lurker chapter 1 . 2/25
At least Jacobs has found a way to let Scrooge know about the chains he wrapped around himself - and, if the 'dream' is listened to/remembered, a chance to make a difference.
I like this.
Clockwork and Tempus - cute pun on his power/name.
| Garnet Sky chapter 1 . 1/22/2011
Fits nicely into the original Dickens story.

I figured that there will be a christmas carol crossover eventually. I'm supprised how well it was thought out. Good Job.
| Invader Johnny chapter 1 . 3/15/2009
Wow... just wow... this is... unlike anything I ever read... usually anthing involving "A Christmas Carol" is a story with one's own characters.
It's quite original to have something Jacob related, no?
Invader Johnny Signing Off.

I'm glad that I was able to inspire you. I'm not sure what I did, but I'm glad it worked.
This was lovely.
Jacob Marley seemed to have finally been resigned to his fate, and I'm glad you managed to have him try to NOT save himself, but his friend, we know to be Ebenezer Scrooge.
I believe I figured out what point of inspiration I might have played.
I like the fact that at Jacob's selfless behest, Clockwork intervened with time, although not too much, but just enough. In "A Christmas Carol," the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future show Ebenezer moments of his life as they were, are, and could be.
This was fascinating, and I'm glad you did it. Thank you for this lovely one-shot. Very nicely done.
