Actually, the story was pretty good( in my opinion). Marine's "story" may have been somewhat weak, but basic and acceptable. I had some laughs myself and the romance part was, overall, well explained and dialogued. I must say, its pretty impressive in my opinion. If I could grade it, I'd give it a 4 out of 5!

Well, I thought that this had a pretty good start for a romance. With a bit more development, I think that it could have turned out to be a wonderful romance fic, but what do I know? I'm just one reviewer out of thousands, I'm sure.

I found this one-shot to be quite interesting. I liked thinking that I was following the plot moderately well, only to find that I had no idea where it was leading. Great job with that. Maybe you could work that kind of plot-twisting into a few of your other fics (unless, of course, you've already done so).

Lastly, I don't see why the Tails/Marine pairing is despised so much by so many people. What's wrong about it? Sure they're from different dimensions, but love will find a way, right (seeing as it conquers all)? They can make the long-distance relationship work out. That's what all the real hardcore romance fic readers want in the end anyway.

But, that's just me. Great job with this one-shot.

No, Tails and Marine doesn't work, and I'm assuming the final ending was a dream within a dream within a dream. Marine would eventually drive Tails crazy. But sometimes the only way to figure out which pairings work is to try several until one does work. I'm still trying to figure out the best pairing for Knuckles.
