Brilliant storytelling. The only thing that bothers me is that Harry and Ginny are getting along without a hitch (so far). Honest, if this keeps up, there's no realistic way that that marriage will end well, because either a huge argument will separate them. You're just making the relationship too perfect. Not only that, rational minded Hermione would never let Ginny go through the 'bonding ceremony' without telling her all of the possibilities of how it will go haywire. In my mind, she would have at least insisted until after Ginny turned 17. Other than that, you've thought this out pretty well. Plus, I love how Ron's involved with the conflict.

This was a great story. I really liked how well you developed the relationships, and having reasons/explanations to why they acted the way they did. The personalities that you gave each character was great, just slightly different than the cannon counter-part. Just enough changes to make them seem more human (if that make sense). Loved the story and your writing style!

I really enjoyed this story. I like your version of Ginny much more than the rather one-dimensional cipher of canon; I like that she sees Harry's flaws and calls him on them without being disappointed that he isn't perfect, and I like that she has dreams and hopes and interests of her own that aren't necessarily exactly the same as his.
One thing that did feel a bit off to me in the story was the online travel booking in chapter 30. I think it's a bit anachronistic. It was certainly possible then, but not a run of the mill thing for most people, and especially not those who were not in some sort of work that had them very comfortable with computers and used to thinking of net resources rather than brick and mortar. Home Internet access was still an uncommon thing except through major services like Compuserve or AOL, unless you had access through a university, and then it was almost always dial-up, at least in the US, and while I don't know for sure how it was in the UK then, I wouldn't expect it to be more advanced. Travelocity and Expedia both launched in 1996, and I personally remember older relatives remarking in astonishment at right about the time this story is set when I would book travel online instead of calling the airline directly or using a travel agent - it was still an unusual thing to do and worthy of comment. The Grangers are dentists, not IT people, so without more setup about how they're really into tech or how Hermione had gotten her dad to get a connection so she could do research in the summer or something along those lines, I found it weird that Harry assumes they have a connection at home and assumes they know how to book travel - and for that matter, that Harry himself, who in your story says he doesn't know all that much about computers and hasn't touched one since 1991, at which time there most certainly was no personal online travel booking, realizes that this is a possible thing. I think it'd be much more likely for him to give Mr. Granger the cash and ask him to go to a travel agent and make the booking. It's not dead impossible, but it's really unlikely, and I found it jarring enough to interrupt my reading and send me off to verify what I remembered of when online booking became available.

Heh, just reread it once again at it's a really great story. If I would have to critize something, I would probably comes with something that is more about personal preference than anything else...
So let's leave it with the fact that you really did a great job :)

A very unique soul bond fic- and a very interesting, different conspiracy/coverup plot-thread as well. It's different and enjoyable. It had many unique aspects of a great, type of story. Id comment more but my computer is acting up and I'll be happy if I can post this as is without chucking my laptop against a wall. Thanks for sharing!
