I’ve been encountering this for a long, long time, but being a SasuSaku shipper, I never attempted to read this. I don’t know what changed, but yesterday I decided to give this a try because there are enough good reviews and favorites.

Let me just say I loved it. It’s rare to find a fanfic that’s well-written, so reading Vespertine was such a joy. I never imagined that I would like ItaSaku so much, but now I do. You also made it that Itachi was so in-character… I think. You did him justice. The story’s progression was just so flawless. This fic is such a gift. Thank you for sharing it!

As I’ve mentioned, I’m a SasuSaku fan, so Sasuke getting with Karin in this story just about made me barf. Kinda hypocritical since I approve of ItaSaku right? Lol but I just really do not like the idea of Sasuke getting together with another girl other than Sakura, especially not Karin, gods… and a baby was even added to the mix. Nope. Just not for me. So I totally skipped these parts.

Anyway, thanks again for writing such an amazing story. You make reading here at FFnet worthwhile.

Your vivid prose especially Sakura's moments of deep contemplation is so well written it makes me think you're a pro author. This is one of the best fanfictions I've ever read and I'm only 3 chapters in. SMH.

Oh wow. This is REALLY REALLY good. I was tired to flipping through stories that get his personality completely wrong (he's not a psychopath/sociopath/man who loves blood or violence). He was always a peace loving fellow who was forced into a life of ignominy by the powerful people of his village. I am already very impressed by your description of his character. His resignation, his deliberate withdrawal, his emotional emptiness- all a self-defense mechanism to be able to swallow his dislike for blood and violence, which he's forced to perpetrate in order to continue to be a criminal and a spy. I mean, well done. Okay, reading on.

Great story but karin made me throw up in my mouth. Skipped most of the last two chapter because of that lol

And plenty of babies later (At least in my mind) What a great story. I really enjoyed it! I liked when Sakura punched Sasuke too lol. And she is right. They can only be friends once he treats her better because canon Sasuke treated her like dirt
