My gosh, I just love everything about this! James is so fantastically written as a fifth year, his date bribery, calling lily back, just everything felt so rightfully him. Also I really liked the scene; Lily thinking things were changing and then James being a idiot again, and James saying he didn't save severus for her. Anyways, thank you for the lovely story!

This was really funny and I liked seeing a different sort of relationship between them with the teasing but awkwardness at the same time.
One thing, you have Lily choke on a leaf of her salad at the wedding question and then a moment later pop another piece of cake in her mouth! Which sounds like she's eating lettuce and cake together!

Cute, but you managed to add a bit of something so it wasn't just that

Really like this, think you captured their interaction perfectly. I'd be jnterested to find out more about your take on the boys dealing with that whole thing, and your choice to not have it affect their friendship.
