Lily Rahl chapter 7 . 8/29/2013
Really special writing! I am really enjoying it! Great style! You manage to express so much with so little; truly impressive!
brandi chapter 9 . 3/13/2010
I think this is one of your most successful pieces. And oddly enough, I like it without either ending...just the way it is!

10millionpeople chapter 3 . 6/17/2009
Hi! I really loved the moment when you explained when the picture was taken. I loved the way you made it where they were so comfortable with each other, though they were married. I would have loved to had seen that scene in a real-time fic, and the one in Ring where he tells her about their never-ending love. Oh, and in Bookshelf, when Jack came to Renee to apologize and they ended up talking for hours.

Do you have Jack dying slowly from the pathogen? Like, over 2-3 years? Because you said they were married...
TBIMH chapter 9 . 5/14/2009
Wow! I loved it. What an incredible job you did at capturing what depression looks and feels like. I prefer ending 2 and how you showed that one little action (opening the curtains to let in the sun) triggered another and then another to help her start to come out of that abyss. Beautifully written.
JackReneesupported chapter 9 . 5/2/2009
Amazing. I loved it. And I do hope you write more supporting Jack and Renee. I loved both endings, though I favored Option two.
Melodic chapter 9 . 4/29/2009
I thought the story had a feeling of a calm sadness all of the way through. Which I think you beautifully portrayed through the writing of course, but also through the use of the short sentences and the layout.

I could see Renee acting out your story in my head.

I personally prefer option 1, though I think she would move on from Jack's death. I think the last sentence of the first option sums it up lovely. Though I don't think it is overly clear what's actually happening. I don't think that option 2 fits in with the rest of the story quite right. I can't imagine her calling Tony or Kim after the death of Jack. Tony being middle of season 7 Tony, or end of season 7 Tony.

I really enjoyed reading it, however morbid it was.
shippergrl25 chapter 9 . 4/25/2009
I liked option 1, but then again, I am a total fan of angst, plus I think it would be fantastic if they were together in heaven or the afterlife or whatever, but then, I guess Terri would be there too, thus making it a little awkward for Jack. And, if Audrey died from her injuries or PTSD or whatever, that's even more awkward.

Now, I am rambling and I am thinking that if Jack had to choose between the 3 ladies, who would he pick...maybe a fanfic idea? lol.

Great Job!

this is getting more depressing by the chapter... in the best way possible, though! I loved in the last chapter when you said she felt sorry enough for herself- it's so true about grief. You've done well at capturing a lot of emotion in these short chapters. Thanks for putting some Jack/Renee out there!
AgentHumen chapter 5 . 3/31/2009
this is soo sad, but so well written
cubsmug45 chapter 1 . 3/30/2009
I loved this! it's like a perfect one shot that I hope is not a one shot :) I especially liked the "His eyes were just like that, permanently creased at the sides" line, because those wrinkles are becoming more and more prominent, especially if you go back and watch some season 1! I also really like the short but very accurate descriptions... keep going!
