|Reviews for Finding A Rose|
| Tolvaer chapter 22 . 9/19
Gave me some closure on the whole affair. It irked me to no end to have Briar Rose be ... eye candy. Smart and pretty and unattainable is no fun for escapist fantasy. This was a lot of fun and believable to read, thanks!

Beautiful story. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I found the pace appropiate and it's well written too. Great job, thanks for writing it :)

An excellent end to a rather pleasant little story. I've read longer stories with less content, and bigger chapters with less heart. Although my preferences are towards novels, this reminded me of the little DnD books that came out for the characters provided for 3.5 like Regdar, Torik, and others. It was a lot of fun to read and had a very nice (if vicariously frustrating) love story too. The hero and the heroine get each other and their reward of a happy life together...there really aren't any better endings than that. So thank you for the work and the joy.

Aw man, they got kiss-blocked, typical timing for louts like Reaper. Love Scarlet's comment about them FINALLY coming to their senses.
This was a good chapter, both extremely happy and a bit melancholy, as Notros and Scarlet were freed to their rest.

So both of them get busted by Mom huh? I like her, sensible female that one.
| mordreek chapter 19 . 3/5/2015
Heh, old warriors never die, they just respawn in a different form.
| mordreek chapter 18 . 3/5/2015
Why would she be disappointed? Seriously, you need help figuring that out? Your own mother CAME BACK FROM THE DEAD to give you a HINT! Ok, people I need a clue-by-four in the shape of a falling piano dropped on this yutz's head...NOW!
That being said, the "motherrr..." moment was priceless *snigger*

Epiphany at last! Give the kid a kupie doll...
Chapter was good overall, did a good job illustrating the tense nature of Rose's choice to turn her back to him. The significance of that moment was made very clear, as was the intensity.

Hmm, some interesting foreshadowing in this chapter regarding Scythe, who knows who he really is?
Why does everyone knock the beards? Beards are epic and stylish.

Hahahaha, the glare of "if it weren't for me, you wouldn't change your socks" Every male has had it sent at him some time in their lives. And I love how just as he manages to turn the tables on her little "lockpick inquisition" boom happens.
Well that's one way to get a front seat view...ok that was a bad but it fits...badum tish.
It's sad they had to stay apart from the voyage, but I'm guessing she didn't want to go that far yet. That long at see and they wouldn't be able to avoid it any longer.
| mordreek chapter 14 . 3/5/2015
Hehehe, little bit of a Freudian slip there Rose, we didn't betray any repressed thoughts there did we? :P She can certainly hold a grudge too, if her reaction to Maze's hologram was any indication.
| mordreek chapter 13 . 3/5/2015
Oy, just as they FINALLY start to figure things out after ANOTHER year, off he goes on another quest... Thaaaat's it! I'm locking them in a room and not letting them out until they break the bed. Joking aside, it's good to see them realize just how much they mean to each other.

Oh come on you 2, quit pussyfooting around and smell the pheromones! Sheesh, talk about taking it slow, it's been BLOODY decades. -_-
| mordreek chapter 11 . 3/5/2015
Nice way to capture the epic boss fight while still keeping the chapter brief.

Well done retelling this part of the game, very easy to see the heroes grieving for their own...and those that they lost to despair or death. I like the battle scenes and how easy it was to imagine the armies of guards and apprentices battling the undead.
