Oh... it was Great.

be patient, America.
It was really Lovely.

I've saved quite a bunch of your stories in my favourites-list, but I don't think I've reviewed a single one of them until now. Shame on me!
Well, I'll start here. I love your characterization of England and America, I think it's spot-on. I think it says somewhere that America is not really as thick as he appears to be, he's just rather inconsiderate, but he mostly means well. I think you've outlined that trait of his very well. And their relationship of course...it was great how you manage to join drama and fluff and make such a good story out if it, and a believable on at that. Seriously, I wish I could write only half as good as you!
I hope I get to review (and read, of course!) your other stories:)

| Free of Mundane Thoughts chapter 1 . 2/27/2011
Awww, how cute~~ Yeah, there's always plenty of stories about Independence Day for USUK but for some reason every single one of them is completely different. Not even SLIGHTLY different. It's really astounding. I really loved this. It reminded me a lot of your story about finding the storage room and when they talked about all the times they spent together when America was little. And of course, that was one of my favorites of your oneshot stories. *hearts* Thanks so much for writing this! I'm sad though, I only have 2-3 more oneshots left to read... D:

That was sooo cute! I loved it! D
| SweetFirefly chapter 1 . 6/27/2010
Really nicely written! It's very obvious how England can't really let go of America in the manga/anime and you portrayed it perfectly. Very heroic of America to bring it up! XD I only have a question: you say that America and England barely saw each other for long after the Revolutionary War, and that, when they did, it wasn't pretty. May I ask to what are you referring? We didn't really went beyond the American Civil War in my History classes in Brazil.
Really good job! Thank you for sharing your talent with us, readers!

| Solandra chapter 1 . 7/28/2009
Angst and fluff all in one, indeed. Most USxUK fics touching on the Revolutionary War are dripping with angst, so it was really refreshing to read something that wasn’t completely serious/depressing about the subject. It was also realistic in the sense that the issue wasn’t immediately solved for good, but that they’ve moved on enough for it to not truly hinder them that much.
Plus, I like the established relationship you’ve got going on here (and in the rest of your fics) – as much as I love UST, seeing them together as a couple that’s matured over the years (but still very much themselves – like America and England are ever really going to stop bickering, ha) and can actually say the three little words (occasionally) gives me that warm, fuzzy, content feeling that resolving-the-UST fic just can’t duplicate.
