Hermione contradicted herself twice here when giving dating advice to Harry.
1- She advices to go to the dance with someone he knows and have common interests with, but she doesn't know Viktor or any common interests.
2- She asks if was going to give a goodnight kiss to Ginny, but he turns the question back to her she claims that it's a first date and she & Viktor barely know each other...wtf, same can be said about Harry & Ginny. Despite meeting her 2 yrs ago, they never really talked, much less interacted. And it was also their 'first date'.
