I just realized that my previous review (one before last, about the Kanji) was cut off halfway through (please let me know though if it's just a temporary problem and I end up repeating myself and sounding like a dork) but since your so found of metaphors I wanted to finish what I was talking about the Kanji names, Black Feathers and White Horse. One was what I mentioned before on it kinda being opposite with what Kaito and Kid wears, but another way to look at it is by what their main goal is and how they get there. Kuroba chases after the men in Black by the Sky (his handglider), while Hakuba chases after the Kid in White by the ground (cop car in some instances).

Also what I typed, but appears to have been cut off or accidentaly erased by me was the main girls in the Kaitou Kid manga. You've probably already noticed this, just by purely being a fan of the series, but following up on Kuroba (black), and Hakuba (white), you also have Aoko 青子 (Blue-Child) and Akako 紅子 (Red-Child). So it's Red vs. Blue!

Actually, 紅 means "Crimson, or Deep Red", and is pronounces "kurenai" by itself and "kou" in compounds (like Kouchya, for English tea because it is reddish looking). But since it is used in a name, it can be pronounced however the namer wishes. Although, actually "あか" (aka) by itself mean's Red 赤 (rather than "crimson", just as "あお" (ao) by itself mean's blue 青.

So originally when I read あかこ(Akako), I thought it was written 赤子 rather than 紅子, which it's funny that the author does it that way, using a different pronunciation for "Red-child" (Crimson, really), but that other pronunciation also means "Red-child" So the meaning is still the same.

anyways, hope i didnt bore you with needless and probably redundant information. keep up the great writing!

(Oh yeah, did you see the 13th move yet? it came out in Japan yesterday and I got to see it (not to brag of course), and it was great! FYI though, the movie is what you expected it to be (what makes sense), rather than what you hope it to be (what they lead you on with).

man i just cant wait to read what will happen next! I sense something bad coming up. And it's obvious that this isnt one's typical fanfic. Since you obviously went out of your way to schedule well thought-out murder scenes before approaching one of the main plot points, then it's obvious that you're going to throw in some unexpected things, just like the author does. I've read quite a few fics were they did a great job getting the characters "in character" in accordance with the manga, but this is the first time i've read someone getting the entire story in character with the manga.

anther great thing was that you rarely played "Murry the Explainer" Explanations only came with deductions which were befitting of each character. No one talked too much or little, nor were any deductions unreasonable and you even managed to include in Conan's "sixth sense" when it comes to kid, and appropriately dealed with Kaito's face looking like Shinichi's (these are too especially hard concepts for most writers to deal with. they either start pretending that Kaito and Shinchi are blood related or that Kaito's face is grounds for instant deduction that he is the Kid, regardless of the fact that there have been several look-alikes in the manga of both Ran and Shinichi before (I can name at least three or four episodes off the top of my head). Ezpecially in Japan (in Aoyama's world) that kind of thing isnt exactly uncommon)'

on top of that you managed to let loose the perfect amount of information, through action and dialogue, in such a way that no party lost face with the other or credibility with the readers. It makes me wonder if you spent a lot of time perfecting your sentences or if that kind of thing just comes naturally to you.

hey, sorry for this late review, and someone else prolly answered your question, but the kinji for Kaitou is 怪盗 and Kuroba Kaito is 黒羽快斗 and just for kicks since you asked knowing im a kanji dork, Hakuba Saguru is 白馬探 (and by purely being a fan you may already know this, but the literal translation of the kanji of "Kuroba" and "Hakuba" you have "Black-Wings" vs. "White Horse" which I always found was ironic because Kid always wears white and your story Hakuba is wearing black

I've always wondered what Kaito's reaction to Yusaku would be. That was clever with the "jewel fit for a king" part. I never would've guessed that Kaito entered from the royal room. I guess that shows your expertise in caracterization!

oh wow, this chapter was amazing! i can't wait now that the plot really has started up 8D -on the edge of her seat- but your hakuba is such a prick. arghh i was so mad at him...will he ever turn around and see kaito's side of everything?

btw, in your A/N the place where you mention we can read DC for free at is ommitted. I'm thinking you put in ' or something and fanfiction didn't like that XDD
