![]() ![]() ![]() "It woulda been more impressive if ya hadn’t been standin’ right next to a bin.” xDD I can't wait for the heist, I really wonder what Kaito-kun's gonna come up with against all that xD Keep writing ! Must love your fic |
![]() ![]() ![]() More clues... and yes, Kaito IS hiding in plain sight! I commend you for your use of magic trick metaphor. It's one of those things that I could really imagine being said in canon. Shadow |
![]() ![]() ![]() this is gonna be good XD |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aw~! I love how you update so often. Nine chapters in 12 days is very impressive. :) That aside, love the story so far. It looks like it's going to start getting really fun. Hehe. Oh, before I forget, the official romanization (from the Chat Noir chapters) of Kaito's first name is indeed "Kaito" while the generally official romanization of "theif" is "kaitou". I'm sure they're the same kanji and you already know that, but I just wanted to add my pitiful two cents and agree with you on keeping the "u" to distinguish. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Shinichi's reaction to Kaito was pretty well-calculated. I wonder what Yusaku will do at the heist. You probably got a lot planned for it. It is true, right, Kaito and Shinichi DO look like twins! The resemblance is downright scary! Again, you do an AWSEOME characterization of Hattori! Shadow |
![]() ![]() ![]() lolz never call Yukiko "oba-san"! XD I can't wait to see what happens next! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Heya! First of all, I love the story. Keep writing! There's excellent grammar and typography (can you say that in english?) and vocabulary (that I don't always have) and- to make it short, just great. Besides, there aren't many fic writers here that can actually manage to invent tricky murders that look like they could be from Aoyama-sama himself. Trust me. Now about that thing you said at the bottom, in the author note, about adding "u" or not after the "o" is NOT supposed to be optional, or at least I don't think so. When romanized, you'd probably normally spell Shin's name as "Shin'ichi Kudô" (except the o looks a little different). Since not everybody can romanize it correctly, we replace the "ô" by "ou", to make it "Kudou". The line on top of the letter is actually to make a double-thingy, like "Riiko" is actually meant to be "Rîko", making "Riko" and "Rîko" two different things. "Kudo" and "Kudô" are just as different, and same applies for "Kaito" and "Kaitô"/"Kaitou". "Kaito" as a name means sea/ocean for the japanese "kai" and the "to" depending on the kanji can either refer to the constellation Ursa Major or soar/fly (I don't which in this case, my computer can't decipher kanji, but as a word "Kaito" can also be translated as "kite"). Whereas "Kaitô"/"Kaitou" really is translated "phantom thief". Japanese is far from being my specialty, but I know that much xD I hope I wasn't to confusing with some weird words, because using french grammar vocabulary and trying to make it sound english probably isn't the best idea xD And congrats again for such a great fanfic. Keep the chapters coming! |
![]() ![]() ![]() good chapter, the come back of Yusaku Kudo is great and a very good surprise ! Thank you and continue on this way ! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Me thinks you uploaded the wrong chapter. This is a repeat of chapter 8 |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ooh! OOH! You're gonna have Heiji's reaction to her driving in the next one right? Right? (koukou (or koko) is high school, sei is student, so kokosei tantei would equal high school detective :D) |
![]() ![]() ![]() THAT is the funniest thing I've ever heard concerning Gin. TWAT |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yay! Another update! I'm loving this so far. And yes, Heiji is in for a real interesting experience. I think you're right. I'm not absolutely positive, but I think the proper romaji spelling is "kokousei-tantei"... with a "u". I'm pretty sure that's right, but I could be wrong. Thanks for the update! Really good chapter~ I can't wait 'til Kudo gets on the scene. |
![]() ![]() ![]() *loves* omgomgomg keep writing. this is amazing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Poor Heiji. I have this vision of him stumbling out of the car and kissing the ground. |
![]() ![]() ![]() yatta! you make it seem so authentic, what with all the random murders and everything. I feel like I'm reading the actual manga. and your right, 高校(こうこう)(koukou) is high school 生(せい)(sei) is student. 探偵(たんてい)(tantei) is suffix, like "san" for detective (and like "keibu" is for inspector, like Nakamori-keibu) (which you knew because you used the hyphen correctly) derived from 名探偵(めいたんてい)meitantei by itself is of course detective as well, the first kanji being "name". but you probably figured all of that out anyways since you've been watching the anime o.O i'm just a dork who enjoys talking about kanji. anyways, this review is supposed to be about you. Great chapter! yay! banzai! so glad to know that it is an epic one with a whole adventure in sight! yay! |
