| XMysterious4AwesomeX chapter 1 . 2/26/2016
Wonderful story! The history was accurate, but it would have been great if you added some more difficulties such as when the people of Hong Kong rebelled against the the British colonial government and after unsuccessful attacks by the British troops, the iron gate was blasted open. The gate was shipped to London for exhibition and later brought back. Nevertheless the story was well made and done.

Hong Kong is such Sweet boy...
So Lovely... and Love England back. (Platonically of course)
The Interaction between them was Bittersweet but Heartwarming as well... :)
Ah but, what does it mean:
"Now that Hong Kong's out of the picture, we can work on fixing what we already have."
I'm a bit slow you know... haha *embarrassed*

God, such a lovely story. Hehe, just another lovely story to throw at Japan to get him to write me a UKxHK fic. Muwahaha. I'm an evil little brother. Hehe. I loved this story so much. It was just...ugh, I can't even find the right word to describe it. Please keep writing.
| Blasphemi chapter 1 . 6/21/2009

| this be a dead account chapter 1 . 6/7/2009
Awwh, this was so sweet and tragical. I love HK. He's adorable and made me want to cry when he wanted to know if he was just a replacement for US. ;A;
This is a wonderful fic. Thanks for writing.
| Wolfie559933 chapter 1 . 6/2/2009
O-Oh wow. Really, this was amazing~! Hong Kong is such an under appreciated character- it's nice to see him get /some/ love.
I really loved the end, too- England owns.
(sorry I have nothing worthwhile to say. Besides you just made my new OTP, but...)
| Boyue chapter 1 . 5/3/2009
I like your portrayal of HK~ If you didn't mention, I wouldn't have thought of HK being a replacement for America... but I can certainly see it now. I also like the imperialistic ideals that England has throughout the story. The angst is delightful... so is the cuteness!
Thanks for the read! DD
| WhereBlueMeetsRed chapter 1 . 5/2/2009
grittier portrayal of england than i usually see 'round hetalia parts, which is cool in its way. even so, his imperialistic mindset was quite a sucker punch at the end!
loved your take on HK too, reserved and insightful. having family from HK, though, i wonder about his quietness. my folks from HK tend to be...outspoken. ; but that's neither here nor there. i love your HK anyhow!
(honestly i've spent much of tonight reading your hetalia fic, and i love them all. your writing is delightful. :D )
| Falcon's Jade chapter 1 . 4/19/2009
Never really thought of HK being America's replacement 0_0 But I don't know the history about that too well. All I know was that after America got its independence those loyal to Britain fled to Canada and we were all worried that we would be invaded because we were loyalists, hence Confederation.
Aw...poor China, at least England treated HK right. I love that part about him often being so quiet, but then sets off "a long line of firecrackers, scaring the living daylights out of the European nation". England calling America a "democratic git" made me laugh too. Great fic!
But what *is* the Millennium Bug?
