This is a ripoff of Shel Silverstein's poem Whatif
| legnase chapter 1 . 12/24/2010
I know exactly how Link(and you) feel. It sucks very much. Great poem though. I hope you do more poetry, because this was wonderful.

| Anaitat ZZ chapter 1 . 7/19/2009
wow, it's so f...ing truth. Iunderstand why you wrote this, actually the same happens to me the only problem is that th boy is in the same class as i do, so i have to see him and suffer every single minute of the day. By the way your not the only one who has a "sudden burst of inspiration" while dreaming, it also happens to me, and not olny before going to bed but also while i'm walking on the street or sitting in my classroom not paying attention to the teacher or trying to not think of the boy who's sitting behind me(yep, i forgot to mention he sits behind me in all my classes, like he knows and wants to torture me) wich by the way is impossible. Well that was it. I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND!
| Wavebreeze chapter 1 . 4/24/2009
Aww, that's cute and kind of sad at the same time. It must have been tiring writing "what if" over and over again, though I presume you copied and pasted it in the end. I'm not expert at poetry so no advice from me here!
Though I do love the reality behind this. I bet everybody has these thoughts running through their mind, all the possibilities swarming and their imagination running off with them. That is why it is great to write from real life experience, it really connects to life.
I know what you mean about the burst of inspiration, it sometimes just hits you really really hard! (so sudden and hard that it hurts, lol)
Good luck with that guy of yours, I hope it goes well for you!
| Moonlight-Zelda chapter 1 . 4/16/2009
I remember this situation ... With any luck, it'll work out for the better with you as well. *huggles*
A good poem, though. :)
| Woodsballer chapter 1 . 4/10/2009
I feel your pain. I too live similar situation.
Heart-touching poem. It would have helped if you specified who was writing it. At first I thought it was from Zelda's POV.
