Ah, this is such a wonderful exploration of what it means to be a Doctor Who Fan. I'm just the same, I think. :)
For a child of the 90's like me, its crying at three years old at Peter Cushing deactivating a Dalek, drooling in a store filled with VHSes of classic tales aged five and picking up 'The Five Doctors' and instantly falling in love with Elizabeth Sladen and Lalla Ward for the first time. Its laughing at my sister aged seven during the 90 repeats on BBC for thinking Giant Maggots are scary, and then leaping behind the sofa weeks later hearing Gabriel Wolfe's silky voice turn Tom Baker into a basial insect - years later I find Impossible Planet terrifying just for this fact alone. Its listening to those lovely CD's and liking Colin's Doctor for the first time and seeing how the Edwardian Adventuress and Elderly Professor are as cool as the rest of those companions. Its bemoaning the fact that I won't get to see 'Parting of the Ways' live due to a Japanense Evening, and scaring my Irish Aunt due to bouncing like a loonie at seeing the Daleks and Cybermen on screen - AT THE SAME TIME, YAY! - and realising how I love every Doctor (who you described so wonderfully by the way) in equal measure.
I hope every fan is like you, and enjoys the show they have watched, be it 4 years or 45, Show, Book or CD, so very much. Well done! :)
