Now... well, now he's explored the good, and made the good fall in love with him... made declarations. It's not acceptable this time. He deserved every teeny bit of vitriol she gave him and so much more. He had hours and hours to come to terms with the decision he made to coldly cut her off like that and hurt her, and make a better choice.

Hahaha, it's funny... I so appreciate that there seems to be no hint of a love Triangle between ExBxJ, but you're Jacob is brilliant. That exchange was flawless and your Jake is cool, confident, and well... sexy. I probably wouldn't mind the Triangle in this story, lol.

Well, I will say this. Bella is cleverer than me.

But all that trying for naught is simply miserable. Horrible. Excellent job on recapturing the hopelessness of the original breakup scene in New Moon.

And here I was, thinking Edward was being stalked by his parents' vampire killer, and he felt guilty for possibly putting her in harms way (though, that would make for a good story too!).

This is much more plausible... and still brimming with so much possibility! I swear, every time you reveal something in this story, I see 10,000 new pathways and possibilities that leave me guessing. I mean, the killer could have an inkling that E is hunting him and he could end up killing E... only the Cullens will stop them, but not before its too late. OR, if E and his LEO friend can chase this obviously conspicuous killer, perhaps you know who will decide to join the fray from Italy...

And now, what is Bella planning?! Is she going to involve Charlie?!

Good GOD. That's a lot of freaking trauma! Can't even imagine going through something like that alone.

He excuses his family & friends, but I say F*** THEM! Leaving him to himself, that's so messed up.

So, I remember Alice showing up when Bella was in the hospital, which leads me to believe that there is a very good liklihood that there is a major connection there that has already been swinging in motion like a pendulum since that day. Very curious about what she saw, and what she shared with Carlisle.

Well, that was anguishing and agonizing in so many ways.

First... that GIANT C WORD with her ridiculous lies and even more ridiculous behavior. Sorry, Jess, I'd have had your ass fired ON THE SPOT and already slapped you with a lawsuit if I were Edward.

Then... Bella, who can't seem to keep her feet out of her mouth. What an accusation (that I KNOW wasn't an accusation, but her trying to understand and being so confused by Edward's Rollercoaster moods). But still, WOW!

And then of course... holy hell, poor Edward. I'm dying to understand myself. He seems like he is literally in hell.

So sorry I skipped a couple chapters... listening to this while I drive prevents me from leaving reviews. At least I'll have a couple open chapters to still review when I read through again, which I more than likely will!

So, I really appreciated how Bella handled Charlie. I would have had a much more juvenile reaction, but she stood her ground well. I'm not surprised by his reaction, but the cop routine would NOT have gone over well with me AT ALL. Totally invasive and uncalled for. Not surprised one iota that he called Doris the next day after Bella gave him a timeout.

I'm SO curious how much more there is to E's story or if he really just hates himself that much and can't take dismissal of his actions and sympathy for what he did. Can't say I know how I'd react if I did something like that, but I can't imagine I'd be in good shape.

I also like how Bella handled him after she realized he stayed. Letting him off the hook for the time being was probably the best for both of their sanity. Considering his difficulty speaking about it, I imagine when he finally does talk about it, it's gonna go about as well as a cluster bomb.
