"Yeargh! Can't a man get a pint around here?" "That's so cute! Look, he's trying to act all grown up again." Those kids skipping through time/universes, it must be so disorienting. I like your serious take on it, but had to lighten the mood a little.

I've never thought about it from this point of view - but I guess maybe that's why Peter "grew up" and never returned to Narnia. He probably felt that he was disillusioned.

Good point, that returning to childhood after having lived a full life would be horribly wrenching.
It's just so short though! I always want more when it's you writing something.

Oh, bittersweet. I always wondered about how the Pevensie children felt when they were thrust back into childhood-childish emotions, childish hormones? Such a radical readjustment of their identities.
