You have an incredible gift for writing for these truly awesome characters! This terrific show would never had been cancelled had they had a writer such as yourself. You write with an incredible depth and sensitivity in regard to, especially Ezra ; he is certainly a most complex, yet truly noble character underneath all of those protective layers, that he was forced to adopt, in order to survive. Thank you for sharing your gift. It has been an absolute pleasure to reacquaint myself with this band of brothers.

Makes me cry every time I read this and the other. So very well written.

good sequel . . . though the ring does have a red stone, so it is less likely to be a wedding band. But, you never know. I re-watched the series on DVD recently and notice this ever present ring. Glad someone else was seeing something that might have a very interesting story behind it. Would love to see what other observations you've made and created stories around. Keep up the good work!

Oh such a touching finale! Buck's reaction was just what I would expect; he has such a caring heart and finding out what Ezra had lost would hit Buck so hard. Nice that Chris couldn't look at Buck when he told him about the baby as well; I'm sure the pain was impressive. Also nice that JD was so worried about Buck and Ezra. Vin did what he could to help Ezra and respect his privacy. Love that Josiah got a "volunteer" with the help of the Lord. The support that everyone gave Ezra really came thru and Chris was there for him. Thank you so much for this; I really enjoyed rereading this tremendous fic.

Terrific chapter. The determination that Ezra felt when he was tryingt so hard to keep the ring really came thru; he couldn't do anything to help Lydia but he could fight to keep the ring. Nathan is missing the point but he just wants Ezra to be ok. Love that JD is starting to figure it out and knows that something is up but just doesn't put it all together. His concern for Ezra really comes thru. Chris does an amazing job helping Ezra; love how he figures out what was going on. Looks like Josiah knows as well. Lots of amazing scenes in this; the image of Ezra taking a beating to keep his ring while Nathan and JD try their best to help is so powerful. It's so wonderful rereading these fic; thank you so much for posting!
