Reviews for House Warming
WaqtZaya chapter 1 . 1/28/2022
Bitter sweet.
Suzie chapter 1 . 8/30/2011
This is rather beautiful. I really liked it a lot.
Muirgen Monet chapter 1 . 9/19/2009
I came across this story on Grabbing His Cane and I love it! You have the dialogue perfectly in character. I love how the melancholia is punctuated by House's subtle way of being 'nice.'

You captured Wilson's loss beautifully. Great job!
Regency chapter 1 . 5/29/2009
I loved this. I'm so glad to finally get to read about Wilson's feelings for Amber again. This is beautiful and going right into my favorites.
Nana chapter 1 . 5/6/2009
I love all your stories!
Dragonland chapter 1 . 5/4/2009
"House's mouth was more bearable when it was occupied with something other than words."

Great line.
Ruby chapter 1 . 5/1/2009
I wish this had actually happened on the show. It would have been great. Wilson desperately needs to make a home for himself. Heh. A House does make a home. Who knew? Loved it. Perfect Wilson. Good use of Taub. Loved Kutner. It's also telling House had only the men give Wilson housewarming gifts so that Wilson would feel it was okay to keep them. Nice psychology. Most of all I loved House in this. He managed to be jerky and considerate all at the same time to Wilson which is House at his best.
passionfornight chapter 1 . 5/1/2009
That was really good. I thought that it showed a comradeship between House and Wilson that sometimes gets forgotten behind the humor and the fights. Very refreshing to read.

I have always enjoyed the way your portray House - his sarcasm even as he shows his concern for his friend. Or, rather, not shows... but that Wilson sees - and through Wilson's eyes we see as well. You paint a beautiful picture of their friendship, especially with the way House does little things to help Wilson with Amber's death.

I loved the line "Forgetting hurts just as much as remembering." I was wondering if you would let me put that in my quote book - with credit to you, of course?
