This is so random... goes hurt/comfort with Watson coming home to angst with the violin to fluff with the concern to mystery with the chloroform, then to humour I suppose with Mrs Hudson finding them asleep...

Seems in-character to me; and I enjoyed your story! One picayune point-you might want to get rid of the "I'm okay" since that's an Americanism :)
