Reviews for The Return of Tracy Steele!
Ryn chapter 1 . 1/6
Love this story and loved the series! Barely remember it when it first played but was able to get a hold of some collector’s dvds. The plot lines have surprisingly held up pretty well and I like the lack of detailed gore that shows nowadays think is mandatory. The chemistry among the characters (with the exception of Phil Barton) terrific. Wish Warner Brothers would put out a set of dvds.
Your story captured the essence of the show. Thanks for writing this!

Very nice tribute to Anthony Eisley and his character Tracy Steele. The show was never the same without him and the introduction of "Phil Barton" just felt forced and did not add anything.
Warner Brothers were really having difficulties during this time period with moving characters from series to series without explanation (I.E. Rex from BSB to 77SS then disappearing just like "Tracy")
This story would have been a great way of "putting things right" had the series continued and there is no reason it couldn't as detective series never go out of style.
Thanks for writing this story for those of us who like closure.

I love Hawaiian Eye, and enjoyed this story so much! It was such a great show, with wonderful chemistry among all the ensemble characters. And as much as I did like Tom, I always hoped for a Cricket-Tracey pairing, so I am so glad that they ended up together here :)

I've never had the pleasure of watching "Hawaiian Eye" and I've had no luck finding any episodes available over the internet, so I was ecstatic to find a fanfic! :) Great story and kept me very intrigued with what was happening!

What a surprise to find a story under "Hawaiian Eye"! I love the series, especially the camaraderie among the regulars. I was disappointed when American Life stopped showing the episodes. Anyway, somehow, in this short story you've managed to capture the essence of the episodes. The characters seem to be pretty much "in character". A little more fleshing out would be icing on the cake. And you've solved the mystery for me-did Cricket prefer Tracy or Tom? I haven't been able to figure it out! Writing another one?
