This a really great story! There are two things a like more than anything else. 1) The phantom's and delusions. 2) The last line at the beginning at each chapter. Although, I did start laughing when it was the same line three times in a row. :) I feel so bad about delusion Jenny telling Tony that he wasn't allowed to die a peaceful death, but had... no deserved to die in agony. It was sad. :( Keep writing!

I've read 'Agent Adrift' before but felt drawn to read it again. I don't know why but I found myself in tears with Chapter 7 this time when I didn't when I read it originally. This is what did it:

"Once again some part of him knew the words couldn't really be true. Jenny would never say such horrible things. Reality wasn't really a big part of his world anymore though. He didn't even realize that the cruelty was coming from himself. Not only that, it was keeping him alive."

Thanks for writing such a great Tony (with a heavy dose of emotionally connected Gibbs) story.

Poor Tony someone found his hiding spot. And threw him overboard. Now he is in the sea fighting for his life. What with everybody he worked with at NCIS dead or alive they weren't giving him much incentive to want to live really. All they did was put him down. especially the dad agents. They all blamed him. like it was his fault all alone. Like he was the one to kill them. Poor Poor Tony.

Gibbs had no idea he was going undercover when he was aboard the ship. At least he got some experience working in different thing on a ship.

Yes i was so glad,happy when Gibbs jumped in the water when the copter was going to turn around. Gibbs knew Tony wouldn't make it alone. He would need someone to order him to stay awake.

Listen up. If I find out you're faking, I'll tan your hide." I love it. Gibbs being all fatherly on him.

Aww Abby came when Gibbs and Ducky had to leave.

i wish he could of left with them but i get it. he needed to finish his time as Agent Afloat. And be ready to leave and go home when he was really ready.

I just read your whole story from start to finish - I loved it! You portrayed the characters and past issues to a "T"- and having the end be the beginning of Agent Afloat was perfect! Great job!
