I loved the storyline of this story, but would have loved to have more plot and maybe a tad less lemons. At first I was like, oh yeah, nice, but like 75% of almost every chapter is lemons. No wonder it takes them so long to get any real resolution to their relationship. They spend more time on lemons than actually talking about their relationship. I’m not slamming the story, just saying I would have liked to see more actual storyline. I love Edward the geek. I love that they find one another after so long.

I have to say, I don't understand everyone piling on Bella. She tried to explain why she hadn't told him. even if her reasons aren't good enough, he still would barely listen to her. Every time she tried to explain, he was shot gunning anger and judgment at her. She stop talking because she could barely get a word out. Right or wrong, if he had said he had to go and left without looking back I might have done exactly what she did. Standing in that room alone and broken, and her having the insecurities she has, it is understandable why she left. Everyone seems to just want to let him off the hook for that. He didn't say "I just need to cool off for a few minutes". At any point in the week that followed he vould have tries to call or make any small gesture. He left that room and in a way that sounded final. Then he and everyone else turning everything around and dumps on Bella. After a week she tried to make contact over and over again. She pours out her heart to him and he ignores her. She travels all over the country trying to fix herself so she will be good enough for him and he ignores her. I don't understand why everyone is ok with that. That is not how how treat someone you love. People make mistakes. People have baggage. If you love them you dont beat them over the head with it. Everyone seems to think its so great that he made her "work for it". It makes me ill. Then when he finally answers the phone he still screws with he emotions. It was cruel. She did not do anything to him that was purposeful or with malice yet that is the was he made her grovel. She didn't cheat on him or betray him. She let her ingrained insecurities get to her. Just like everyone in the world does at one time or another. To me at that point, he was selfish and arrogant. Then when he agreed to see her he made her come to him. More crawling for her. I am not sure honestly at that point he deserved her anymore. When you really love someone, you love all of them. You try to understand why and help them through. He never did that through all this. Not once.

He left her there and not once did he own up to that or admit that he holds some of the blame for what happened after that. He was self righteous and all that followed with everyone saying they are glad he made her work for it makes me a little ill. That is not how you treat someone you love. Just because they make a mistake, it doesn't give you the right to make they suffer and pay until you feel like they have done enough. She does all the work after that night to fix things. His lording her every mistake over her, even knowing why she did them and how she was feeling is selfish and arrogant to me. At any point during that first week he could have made some effort or even a small gesture and he didn't. Regardless of what anyone else thinks he said "I need to go" and left her alone in that room, and he never apologized for that or admitted it was a shitty thing to do. She flew all over the country trying to fox herself, leaving him messages, texts and emails and while he ignored her. Then after all that, he still made her crawl and beg.

Bella was an idiot and she should have realised that with Edward being a geek that should have to make this fist move. Again Bella was an idiot.

I remember reading this years ago and it still holds the key to my heart. Such an enduring story. Loved it...again!

If she didn't want to get married, it shouldn't be relationship breaking, depending on the reason.

Eh, maybe it's the context making 28 year olds talking like high school kids? So far none of them have had a conversation that resembles anything like interchange between grown ups.
