A joy to read. Somehow, you made a heartfelt 'declaration', framed around the death of Spock's mother, into a short, sweet thing. Magic.

Very cute. It was all in character. I liked the idea and the execution. I did not like the point of view style but you were consistent and I admire your risk taking. Overall I loved it!

I know that you wrote this story 3 years ago, but I spotted it while going through the Spock/Uhura archive. I was a little skeptical about the 2nd person, in the beginning, but as I kept reading, I started to love it. I'm glad that you gave us a snippet of Spock openly dealing with his emotions.

Very nice, although I had a little trouble with the second person POV. Not many stories are written that way, so it felt a little jarring. But, I like the ficlet, and I wanted to throw out a thank you for the nod in Pride and Prejudice's direction (which I'm assuming is intentional. If not... well, then good job for referencing the classics!). Thanks for writing :)

But, once again, I love this story so much, and pretty much encapsulates my ideal Spock. I love the poetic feel of this piece, and how you literally put the reader in the moment with the second person POV. Wonderful.

Loved this. How perfectly in character for both of them, it's simply lovely.

This is gorgeous. I love the theme of tying to find a way to express love in terms of words. Especially between these two, that speak so many languages, and yet you don't need to use any of them to convey their connection to each other.

AW! That was so sweet. Yeah, you kind of wonder what Spock would have said if Kirk hadn't interrupted him. Nice fic and good writing style!
