Awwwww! This pretty much made me freaking cry! But I guess in a good way. Beautifully written and beautifully true to character! Quite honestly one of the best stories I've read here ever! Going to the top of my favorites list.

Q truly enjoyed wrangling that confession from Picard, and I'll have to admit-I enjoyed watching Picard squirm too! It was all just too cute, from the "congrats" card to Picard's farewell kiss.

Love love LOVE this! Gives me a whole new appreciation for 'Q and the Grey.' Also, I love this pairing when it's thoughtful and unmushy so thank you for that.

It's a very sweet story, that is very appropriately titled. I enjoyed the set up. Makes you wonder what happened to Q and if he does come back if Picard would be still be able and willing to establish a strange relationship with him. If so, what would it mean for them?

I really liked this. I'm a Picard/Q shipper anyway but there was a wonderful bittersweetness to this. As somebody else said I hope you continue this and let Q come back and celebrate.

nicely played out theme, love the end. but the narrative in the middle is a bit long and dry. This is not a script, long narrative without action or imagery is hard to digest.

This is a wonderful short story. Have you ever thought of doing a sequel? There just is NOT enough Q/Picard stories. I hope you keep writing!

I do hope you get back to this storyline eventually; it's wonderful, deeply emotional and successfully deals with some of the stumbling blocks regarding power dynamics and maturity levels that often makes fic with this pairing impossible to believe. And of course, all of your stories are very well written. Thank you!
