I don’t usually review until I’m done with a story but omfg I’ve never laughed so hard at a fanfic before in my life. “Screaming ‘Batman’ at the top of your lungs” got me so bad. And then you just kept GOING with the different terms. I love everything about this story btw. Especially that scene with the phone- that also killed me.

Hoo boi, I haven't used this account in a long while, but considering I've read this and the series leading up to it back in october last year I decided to check it out again. It's hands down my favourite fiction ever, I'm sure. Everything is very perfect - the analogys, pacing, humor, your interpretation of Bruce is absolutely wonderful. I often find he comes off too strong, in either being too nice or too cruel and you managed to make him perfectly human in that perfect way that makes me love Batman so much. Oh and your Jonathan is obviously just as fantastic, haha !

I can't help but go, "Aww," At the now dead Live Journal links for the smut, as your profile seems to have been deleted - Solely because it was the first time I've seen anything intimate, sexual or not, between Jon and Bruce without it having a very clear undertone of Scarecrow going, "I want to kill you," And Bruce worrying about this the whole time as if he'd act on his libido if he genuinely feared for his life. So that's a shame, but it doesn't make this story less good and I'm sorry that I haven't got more words to add here. Just know that I've been retelling details about this story to my friends lol, and I wish I'd reviewed earlier.

This has been a wonderful ride and you have my deepest gratitude for entertaining me these past weeks. Your stories are not only remarkable and deserving of the highest esteem inside the batman fandom, but are true rarities in the world of fanfiction as well, in terms of character development and storytelling. The way you built up their relationship was exquisite. To me, this is a whole new level of slow burn, and I'm a practiced fanfic-reader with a tendency to set at least 50k words as the minimum length when I'm looking for stories, so that is saying something. I've read someone's opinion once, somewhere in a discussion about fanfics, that he or she wants to read about 100k words worth of friendship before reading another 100k about a pairing's romance, and try as I might, I haven't come across a story/series before that fulfilled this wish as beautifully as yours.
