Bella is such a drama queen. How can she be soooo upset over something that Edward did way before her own father was even born. George is old enough to be her own grandfather. She really has no right to be mad. I hope you don't trace Edward's heritage to the Swan line and make Edward & Bella somehow related because that would suck & then I would give Bella permission to be royally pissed. I love your stories!

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this story. Such a unique idea that could so possibly be canon and I love that.

I loved how much the characters changed throughout the fic, especially Edward. He became so much softer and just... content.

This one in particular is just so real and completely understandable, the decisions and actions of the main characters make perfect sense but aren't predictable. What shines through is what really matters, their love and devotion for each other and their desire to just live their lives together. Your portrayal of the birth was very realistic. I love the fact that you portray the intimacy between them so beautifully, very sexy but without being graphic or smutty. I love the teasing and humour between the family. Thanks again for a great read. I think I need to start reading The Keepsake now!

What a wonderful story! A very good psychological study and you handled it well. I understand a 16 yr old in 1918 would have taken the responsibility on his shoulders for a womans actions towards him, but I would have liked the rape acknowledged more. Edward says she took from him, but it was so much more then that. The mental and emotional scars are deep. This isn't the aftermath of a 16 yr old who went too far and fast and regretted it the next day. It was premeditated rape! Its all too common.

As an author you've written a great story with wonderful depth. As a mother, I wish the situation was defined more. Rape of a male isn't talked about enough in society. Its still taboo and seen as weakness. I hope that by reading this story, other readers will be more understanding and may be able to help others who face similar situations! That's why I wish the situation was defined in black and white. Authors can shape society and your story is amazing! Thank you for writing and sharing such a touching and emotional story!
