![]() ![]() ![]() I did not like Sonic and The Black Knight very much because of how Sonic is willing to be an evil villain that kills kings. Sonic was also pretty insulting towards Caliburn and such. Also, Sonic did not bear to listen to Merlina's sorrow at her world ending, he just dashed forward with Caliburn and tried to hack her to pieces! This version of Sonic in the Storybook series is absolutely vile and cruel! Yes, "the world has to end someday in the future", but can't anyone just sympathize with people who do not want to see the world fall into ruins? Besides, Sonic should have listened to Gawain's suicidal madness at himself and tell non-casually that he has a life ahead of him. I am still against Merlina BUT also against Sonic's and Caliburn's methods of doing the right thing. Merlina wants to save the world, YES, but her methods of doing so are corrupted. She killed innocent people, tricked people that King Arthur and the Scabbard of Excalibur should be defeated, SHE EVEN LIED ABOUT STOPPING THE FORCES OF THE UNDERWORLD WHEN LATER SHE WOULD USE THEM ANYWAY! Also, she kills people who stand in her way. I would protest against both sides peacefully and tell them both to STOP fighting and relate with one another . Merlina needs to be purified of dark magic that's corrupting her mind, with the help of Nimue and the Knights Of The Round Table. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hm, nice view point. But I shall say the game does not say that Sonic left before fixing the kingdom. Anyway nice story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() ...Heh. Not bad. This is quite the different perspective, and the ending leaves quite a bit of thought in my mind...not bad. Not bad at all. Keep up the good work! ~ADarknessInHeaven aka: Sam |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yeah, you told me you liked Merlina, and, believe it or not, I wasn't surprised to find you'd written a one-shot about her. I have not played 'Sonic and the Black Knight', and most probably won't. Yet, I still found this interesting. I liked the style you wrote. Sometimes I look at people's work, and realise how much I need to improve (you are an example... what I mean is, you have your own personal style of writing. That's good.) Now, I shall be uploading your one-shot, which you sincerely deserve... HAPPY BE-LATED BIRTHDAY, BABY! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Happy birthday, Unknownlight! Nice job. Even though I haven't played Sonic and the Black Knight (I don't have a Nintendo Wii), I still appreciate this story, especially because of the analysis of Sonic's character. That last line of the story reminds me of the second chorus of the song "It Doesn't Matter" from Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut: "This fight is not for anybody, this is purely for myself! There is no way I'm gonna give up 'til the very end! I can't tell what is wrong and what is right - I've got to find the answer, But until I do there's no way I will ever give up! Place all your bets on the one you think is right!" There are several other authors on this site that I believe would agree with that assessment of Sonic's personality. Keep up the good work. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I don't feel like the last "infuriated" bit is justified. Merlina's the one who dragged him there in the first place ("Forgive my abrupt summons") - she of all people should know that he would have to return. Of course, just because an emotion isn't justified, doesn't mean it won't exist. May 27th? Huzzah! I've finally met someone who shares my birthday! Except I can't make any comments on whether I'm older, you're older, or if we're 'twins', since you don't divulge your age. Happy day anyway. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Happy birthday! Hehe. This is great! A whole different take on the Sonic and the Black Knight story. Very descriptive and very interesting to read. Occassionally confusing but not so that it took away from the story. I would love to see you do more monologues for other characters! Nice work. |
