now in cannon you never see interviews with harry til tri-wizard tournament. yes i know dumbledore is shielding him from the press and anyone else who may wish to control his weapon hence the reason harry gets no mail ever other then those dumbledore allows. harry could tell a reporter what happened first year and swear an oath to it on his life, magic and soul. an the press would have no option to believe it now if they would run the story or not is something else all together.
| bill560682 chapter 9 . 12/17/2013
i think the best way to get draco on harry's side is to show him everything about tom riddle seeing as squibes would likely count as lower then even muggles and tom's father being a muggle makes tom even less then even a muggleborn.
| bill560682 chapter 5 . 12/17/2013
a major problem i see is harry does not know about the horcluxes before he went back in time so can not come up with ways to take them out early. now harry would likely figure out the stone at the end of first year is very likely a fake so will not bother with it and he would likely get the diary from ginny early in second year thereby taking that threat out. an he of course knows catching peter in third year would be useless since dumbledore does not want sirius free.
now there are some good things thou, harry knows how the world cup will turn out so he can bet 100,000 galleons and turn it into 100,000,000 galleons.
weasley twins could make tons of money if they made cheer candies. what cheer candies are is a candy that can be put into any food or drink that causes the person to say the stated thing every time they open there mouths. best place to start selling such an item is the world cup match. this way krum fans can drug the irish food and drinks to cause they to praise krum and the irish fans can can drug krums fans to cheer for the irish. the weasley twins and lee jorden should be able to sell 10,000 or more of those at that event, seeing as they get to the event about 12 hours before it starts. people will likely be buying 10, 20 or even 50 at a time to drug the other teams fans with. an after that event they can start selling them for every teams fans by owl order an with world wide sales they should pull in a million galleons a year easy if not several million. you figure if there are 500 quittich teams around the world which is likely a low number and 10 games a season per team which is also a low number an a thousand people at each game who want cheer candies then that is 5 million candies a year sold. an if you send owl order forms with the rest of your items on them you can easily double that number since you will have tons of people wanting the candies to make you sick to get out of class or work. selling the snack boxes at the world cup you will have every kid there spending every bit of their pocket money on those to use to get out of class. these candies are also great for those guys who do not wish to have to go see their mother in-law. an you can even break down the sales by school teams as well, think how much the snakes would pay to prank those stupid house of the lions before a game.
so why not just create a magical bomb? all you need is a ward stone or any other magical item that can hold raw magical power an then power it to the max and put a time delayed reducto curse on it set to release all the power at once and boom a magical add a feather weight charm and a shrinking charm and a charm to cloak it an you can then just drop it any place you want. heck you could even slip it into someones cloak pocket and have them take it were you want it.
personally i think harry would be very smart even if he does not always show it. the way i see it harry would likely go to the library at school instead of the play ground to get beaten up by his cousin so that is just over 3 hours a week in the library. also he would likely be sent out to play on weekends when at home so no one begins to talk which means he would likely spend about 15 hours a weekend at the local library. so that is about 18 hours a week harry spends in the library not counting summer vacation. so that is 900 hours a year in a library now if you figure he likely spends a few hours a week here and there at the library on summer break as well you may as well round it up to an even 1,000. so if he started going to the library at say age 6 then that is 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 or 5 years of 1,000 hours a year at a library. an once he starts hogwarts he and his friends spend countless hours looks for different things in the library such as flummels name in year one and what is petrifying the students in year two and tri-wizard tournament in year four. you figure that has to be at least 1,000 hours a year. an to find what they are looking for they need to go threw tons and tons of books on spells, potions, magic animals and who knows what else. an since they need to read every page in every book they will most likely find lots of spells and potions that sound like they would be great to learn and thereby harry would start making a list of them and later learning them. an if you think about it hogwarts library is not as big as you would think. if it has 40,000 books in it that is really only 1,000 different books and they have 40 copies of each book so that everyone who comes to do their homework can have their own copy and does not have to fight over them. now with transfiguration, charms, defence and potions that would account for about 300 books of that 1,000 so even if harry only took one book a week out to study on his own time that is still 40 books a year likely 10 on each subject. so by the end of fouth year harry has read 40 books on each of the 4 subjects or 160 of the 300 books on those subjects. as far as harry spending time with his freinds harry has very few since first year everyone would be fawning over the great harry potter so he would likely go to the library to get away from that or to his dorm. second year everyone thought he was the one attacking the school so he would hide in the library or his dorm and fouth year everyone thought he put his name in the goblet of fire and hated him for stealing cedric's glory so he would also hide in the library or his dorm, thereby giving him lots of time to study on his own. an why harry would study potions would be to get snape of his back as well as to have something to use on his so-called family during the summers. an the potions that are to hard for harry to make he can have the weasley twins or oliver wood make and claim they are going to be used to prank his family during the summers. this would not be hard since in potions you set one dose to be graded by snape and the rest is done way with, now we bottle it instead of dumping it. an i am sure harry learns about owl ordering things so he can also buy finished potions if it something hogwarts students do not brew. an remember harry during third year was able to do a spell most grownups can not even do so his should learn spells very well so that as a first year he should be learning second and even third year spells on his own no problem, second year he should be up to fouth and fifth year spells an by third year he should be up to sixth and seventh year spells. so by the time fourth year is over harry should have moved on to subjects like runes and arithmancy and be threw at least first if not second year in those subjects on his own as well. you also can not forget harry spent time living at the inn connected to diagon alley during the summer before third year so he could have checked out any of the books at the book store there as well. so he could have snuck in there under his invisability cloak and spent 8 to 10 hours a day reading to his hearts content. if harry happens to be a speed reader so he can read a book in 30 minutes then that is 2 books an hours and 20 books a day which is 140 books a week and 520 books in one month. an even thou a book store may look as thou it has 100,000 books it is more like they have 1,000 books with 100 copies of each one, an if you leave out wizarding fiction books written for lonely housewives you can likely cut that number in half, you can also take the hogwarts books of the list because harry can read those at school harry will mainly be looking for books like 1,001 ways to win a fight fast. an yes i know cannon harry was not allowed to be too smart otherwise granger would not have anything to do. also it would write ron out of the story do to him not being able to get harry to just slack off all the time. an harry could always claim he was going to bed early say 9 o'clock and use his cloak to go to an empty classroom to practice the spells he is learning till midnight then sneak back to his room an still get 6 or 7 hours sleep so if we only do week days that is 15 hours a week of spell practice and 600 hours a school year of spell practice. an the way it sounds in cannon they only have each class once or twice a week at most so you are only having 2 to 4 classes a day. an the way cannon makes it sound you are lucky to learn 40 spells a year per class. so even if it takes harry 2 hours to get each spell down right that is 300 extra spells a year he knows. an the only class that calls for spells is charms, transfiguration and defence. so we get 100 new spells from each a year. so harry would learn 2 1/2 years of spells a year meaning by the end of third year harry should know all 7 years of hogwarts spells for each of the 3 classes. an when harry is learning these new spell he only needs to work on what the spell does, wand movements for the spell and how to counter the spell not the 2 or 3 pages of the spells history such as it was invented in 1307 and so on such as the theory behind the spell. so a 500 page book would have about 100 spells. so even if harry only reads at normal speed he can read and copy the parts of the book he needs in an hour or two then spend all the time he wants to get the spell right.
as far as learning magic goes harry would only need to practice 2 to 3 hours a day at most. the main subjects are charms, transfiguration, defence and potions which they only seem to have once a week as far as lessons were spellwork is done the other class each week seems to be about drilling theary into their heads. so even with only 2 to 3 hours a day that would put harry way ahead of everyone in his year an even if the hogwarts students have each class twice a week at least one day would be totally theary and the other would be spellwork. an yes they would spend a lot of time on the theary because that would count for half your grade. one spell per class per week would be 40 spells a year. so if you learn one spell an hour which is longer then hogwarts clas

You know what I would find funny is if as soon as harry sees Quirrel he yells "FUCK YOU VOLDEMORT! AVADA KADEVRA!"
And whenever he sees voldemort again, repeat what was said before.

Readers, I am an incompetent author who likes to break the immersion of you all by placing author notes in the middle of my story. I also assume my said audience is retarded, so I explain everything, because I'm a self-entitled narcissistic asshole. Oh wait, that's not me, it's Deskara Sundaskular.

| Spartan1117 chapter 17 . 11/17/2012
hey love this story hope it continues. Is harry blocked out of the potter estate or only removed while the ancient passed on?
And is this story going to go through each individual year or have a page for each year till year 4?
| serialkeller chapter 16 . 11/14/2012
Ok, problems are that the grammar is crap, no offense, because a beta reader can fix that. Another problem would be if harry doesn't take action to remove the horcrux in his scar after learning about it, also he just recieved tonnes of magical knowledge from times ancient to the time of death of the treant so that would easily cover the experience part of the fight against voldie and dumbles. I mean experience is good yeah, but if you have a shit load more knowledge than the person that you are fighting you will always win, knowledge is power and all that. Plus it's not like harry has no experience, he lived this life before and only got more experience the second time around.
| serialkeller chapter 4 . 11/14/2012
you said that thy are not easily fooled or defeated like in some fics, yet you have harry being able to talk at 3 months old, why are you going logically now?

I would say that your Harry is too Dark but it's your story. I mean, except for the Dursleys, nothing has happened to him YET. And i think that he's doing the revenge thing WRONG.
The Dursleys has hurt him and yet no punishment and only a warning has been given. The man in the alley attempted (ATTEMPTED) to hurt him and he was punished. Did you get the irony? The unfairness of it? The dragon suffered needlessly...just to show that he is Dark. Dumbledore is not punished from his manipulation. Hogwarts students didn't do anything to Harry and yet they are punished in a way by his coolness and detachment. Even Malfoy who tried to be friends with him also suffered in a way by Harry's distance. THese people hasnt done anything yet and they all feel Harry's coldness. And yet the Dursleys didnt get any except warnings. Do you see now what i mean?
