Oh my god. That was an amazing story! Absolutely beautiful! I love how Aidou is so kind and sweet in this...and Kaname is so sad. Oh I feel so bad for him! This is the first AidouxKaname I've ever read actually, but it was so good! Wow, you actually made me dislike Zero (I could never hate him) Great job _
| sourcandyaddict chapter 1 . 5/1/2012
Yay, Aido got what he has always wished for~
| cutiedogsapphire chapter 1 . 10/16/2011
That was amazing! Very well done and I really did like how Kaname erased Aido's memories, so its as if it never happened. I can actually see Kaname doing something like that, but not like anyone would know about it~! lol Good job!
| Eru no Tsubasa chapter 1 . 2/27/2011
Ah... *squee* Just perfect! Really, really beautiful... XD
| Rinhail chapter 1 . 8/27/2010
A shame really, there are so few Aidou/Kaname stories out there. I'm disappointed you took it in the direction of Aidou losing his memories, but liked it overall. c:
| Gwen Truong chapter 1 . 3/17/2010
Poor Kaname, but poor Aidou more! Aidou is my favorite in this story. Poor him, *sob sob*
| Pink Bead Girl chapter 1 . 2/26/2010
When Aido eavesdrops outside the Chairman's window and hears of the elopement of Zero and Yuuki he is predictably outraged that anyone could dare hurt his beloved ,very thoughtfully he invites Kaname to his home for Christmas to divert his sorrows. "...his heart swelling with surprised joy..." I am so glad when Kaname accepts.
It's heartwarming how dear, daylight avoiding Aido gets up 'early' in the late afternoon to place some protection charms at Kaname's door to ensure the pureblood's safety from those who delight in his sorrowed state. "..When it came to his beloved Kaname-sama logic or reason had no say in the matter..." acknowledges the courage it took for Aido to walk unbidden into Kaname's bedroom. He had no choice though, because if he'd knocked he would have been denied.( A hug for Aido for his brave heart.) He sees a sight he never would have imagined, "..Kaname's beautiful eyes, despairing and moist." (Poor wounded darling) Aido shows great fortitude in the face of Kaname's icy anger and is able to explain about the charms he's laid for Kaname's benefit. I'm so glad when Kaname sees "...the open transparent hurt in his wide, blue eyes.." and realises Aido would never betray him.
I adore the moment Aido offers his blood to Kaname.
"..Aido kept his steady gaze on the former's face as he dropped gracefully to his knees...'My blood is yours,Kaname-sama' and he closed his eyes and tilted his head back in a time honoured gesture of surrender..."
Ye Gods! Those words are as a handful of jewels strewn across image they bring is so intense,so vibrant,I can see him as if lit by heavenly fire, radiant beyond beauty in the joy of his offering. I am so glad for Aido when his sacrifice is accepted and Kaname tries to make it a pleasure for Aido. He deserves it.
"Aido smelled good..his own soft scent never failed to remind one of a newly bathed and powdered infant.." I yearn to bury my face in those golden curls and experience this delight for myself.
"Let me offer you a moment of pleasure,no strings attached.." I am enchanted at this selfless devoted offering. "...I don't care if I am but a substitute.." He shows just how grounded and mature he really is. I reverently read the adoring, selfless worship of Kaname's body by Aido, his every loving gesture given freely as balm to ease a wounded heart. I feel a bloom of heat and empathy in my own. Then, shockingly,at the moment of rapturous release, "..Zero! How could you leave me?" I am taken aback, I thought it would be Yuuki!.
Sadly Aido's memory of one of the most joyous moments of his life has to be erased. I know it has to be,as does loyal, brave Aido. The secret is too dangerous to keep.A sad little smile hovers on my lips at Aido's delight at using Kaname's toothbrush.
Thus Kaname commences wiping Aido's memories but something baulks in my mind. I can't believe there is no warm embrace, no heartfelt deep kiss given by Kaname for poor Aido so savour for even those few minutes before erasure. I know verbal thanks and a warm look was exchanged but I can't help yearn for a little more for dear, devoted Aido.
This beautiful journey has taken me to quite a different place to that which I thought I would follow. Thankyou so much, as always.
Overwhelmed by beauty, I read on.

Beautiful, and marvelously written. I'd write a longer review but I am at a loss for words at the great work. (that and I haven't reviewed anyone in a long time-.-)
| LovelessXHeartlessXSoulless chapter 1 . 10/17/2009
It was a lovely story, although it had a slight sad ending. I wish that you create more stories with Aidou and Kaname pairings, even more so with a plot-line such as this story, having Kaname sad because Yuuki (or Zero. etc.)left and then have Aidou comfort him. My Favorite part about this story is the sweet yet sad plot along with the pairing, although i Hope for it to have more happy parts along with the sad, thats if you do another story like this, such as having Aidou and Kaname start a slight comforting relationship where Aidou would do anything for Kaname to comfort and help heal him. But all in all, i love this story and hope to see more Aidou/Kaname Pairings. -

That was wonderful - it is extremely beautifully written and you captured the emotions well. The ending was sad but wonderful.
| Ocaso chapter 1 . 9/3/2009
Messed up. Angsty. Excellent.
| Blackened Wing chapter 1 . 8/19/2009
This story was so beautiful and sad at the same time! *smiles softly*
Kind of seeing everything from Aido's point of view was a really nice way to do the story. I liked his shocked and outraged thoughts on Kaname's behalf about the elopement and how much it hurt him. It shows in a roundabout way how much he loves Kaname. :)
*cheers for Aido having the courage to invite Kaname home with him*
Very good thought of Aido's, wanting to give Kaname extra privacy like that, and I love how it led to him accidentally hearing Kaname crying. *feels her heart constrict painfully* oh my poor baby... *sniffles* Yes, Aido... it's okay, he needs someone, go on... *watery smile and another soft cheer for his bravery and devotion*
I'm so glad that Kaname did know he could trust Aido too. He didn't want anyone to see him like that of course... but he really needed someone to share his pain with, and Aido is the perfect person. (considering the other two perfect people are currently the source of the pain LOL).
The blood drinking was lovely. :) No, of course it didn't hurt, and I'm sure Aido treasured it. Aido's devotion and yet his realization that Kaname would never feel that way about him is lovely and sad in equal parts. The way you write it, it's one of those beautiful, bittersweet unrequited loves deserving of classic literature like Cyrano de Bergerac or Sydney Carton. :)
Aw... wow, you know, I don't think I've ever been more torn between gentle tears and warm, tingly enjoyment than while reading this lemon. I loved Aido touching Kaname like this and pleasuring him, I loved Kaname's reactions and his deliciously erotic responses, and I loved how we could for a while forget the melancholy, along with the characters, even if it was slightly ever present in the back of our minds. Masterfully done!
*quickly becomes less coherent as the yumminess of it all takes her breath away* You don't want to know how many times I've read this. Seriously. And it's evoked intense feelings every single time.
The twist at the end, with it actually being Zero that Kaname was pining for was awesome!
It's too bad that Aido couldn't keep the memories, but I know Kaname would never have felt comfortable with that, and he could very well have been right, it would be even harder for Aido in the long run, although not because he'd seen Kaname's weakness. ;)
God I wanted to cry for Kaname's pain, but at least he got this small respite and he was able to share his pain with someone who loved him. :)
I'm glad that Kaname at least knew that someone he'd been useful to Kaname and been able to help him, even if he didn't know how.
*gives a watery smile and a few stifled sobs over Kaname's last thoughts* Lovely, bittersweet story! Bravo!

Woah, thank God, it was Zero who Kaname likes
