A very engaging and entertaining read! I appreciated how you adapted Austen into this 2009 Star Trek setting. I like how you didn't slavishly stick to the original plot, and how you introduced some other characters to fill portions of Austen's roles. You found good ways to introduce tension and delay rewards. Although there are places where I might have done things differently, I'm just glad that you wrote this story in your own voice and put it out there for us all to enjoy. Thank you!

I love the care and detail you're putting into this story with the glossaries, the cover art with Martha from Doctor Who (have you see the YouTube show Black Girl in a Big Dress? It's so well done!), and African and African American details you're including. You're doing a great job of adapting Austen into this Star Trek setting, so that although I know what to expect of the various twists and turns of the plot, I still want to read more. :)

Ooh, very well done! I look forward to how you upend Sybok's story later when Spock clarifies their backstory.

I've been smiling as I watch you reproduce the P&P structure, scenes, and even lines of dialogue in this ST context, but this chapter's final scene rose above that and was really lovely. Well done!

Really loved this, especially the parts that were so similar to "Pride and Prejudice." T'Pau was great as Darcy's aunt!

This was absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for this story. 3 My only regret is that Sybok had to be the Wickham of the story, but he played the part brilliantly and met an end that was more suited than the end for the original Wickham.

2) I hope Kirk and Uhura make up at some point. I don’t know why fanfic writers always portray them as enemies. I see them more as having a brother/sister relationship full of fights and put downs. I enjoyed the brief period of time where they were actually getting along

oooh.. things are getting interesting! I’d say we’ve officially bypassed the pride & prejudice part of the story; and are now fully in Star Trek territory.
