I just keep loving this story more & more Rochelle! I swear, I'm viusalzing the city, the houses, the rooms, everything while I'm reading! I'd swear if I didn't know any better, that you were writing this from either memory of living in Ireland during this time, or that you lived there now & had family that experienced this. Extremely well done & can't wait for the next installment :)

That had me just as worried as Bella about the boys. My heart just dropped when she saw the paper and then heard about the accident.
| monomo chapter 9 . 9/22/2009
Aww I'm so happy they made it back ok, but that must have been really hard for them when Pat died.
And at the end when Edward was crying, to me it was like he was thinking about what His parents would be going through, or even Bella if he were to die. And I think that made me love IRAward even more.
I'm glad they wont be leaving again anytime soon :]
Great chapter Ro!

I am so wrapped up in this Edward and Bella and it's the time period, I've never read anything regarding the conflict in Ireland during this time, I'm hooked! This was very emotional, their love is growing so sweetly, but so is the danger, yikes! Well done Ro!

okay, super uber mad here...for some reason I didn't get the update email so I've been sitting and going mad waiting! I checked my account today and saw the update...squee, then mad I didn't see it earlier!
any who...the update was wonderful and stressful. My stomach was in knots with Bella...the waiting is horrible.
I'm glad everyone knows what's going on now but the image of Edward in the black ski mask is just haunting to me...the eyes shining through...
Thank you so much for the update! I loved it.

Wow, Rochelle, you're so talented! Your writing is vivid and always cuts right to the bone with it's emotional intensity and depth without losing the subtleness. Love it!
Pat's death was devastating, although we technically aren't that familiar with the character. It does concretise once again how realistic this dangerous situation is. I'm glad that the family members finally knows, it's always better to know in my opinion. I wonder what the consequences will be..
This chapter was absolutely beautiful, especially the last part when Edward started to cry. They're just so perfect together. I've noticed that even the slightest mention of E/B interaction is already enough to make my heart flutter. Amazing!
Thanks for writing~

I'm so glad Edward and Emmett are okay. It is really sad that one of their guys was killed, but in a way I'm glad you put that part in. I think it makes the story more realistic since many people were hurt or killed during that time. Good chapter. I can't wait to read more.

this story is amazing! it's very well written and i really like that you recraetd that period so well,it seems you've done a lot of resarch about it. it is almost as the reader can feel the anger, fears, frustration and hopes that affected the characters! thank you for continuing this story!

Thank you for continuing this story.
I've always been interested in learning about that particular part of the Irish people's history.
You write so well. So well, in fact that I can feel the same fear and anxiety of what it must be like living that life everyday. Specially for Bella and Edward.
I can't wait to read more. Thanks.
