I just finished reading this on the other website. I just want to say what an absolute incredible writer you are. It’s been so long since a story has touched me like this. You make me want something I shouldn’t want, love. You have an incredible gift.

Finished this last night on adifferentforest. I was initially hesitant about the premise - I mean an age gap sounds sexy in theory, but even while I was rooting for them I was also a little uncomfortable. And Bella, jeez she's so frustrating! So annoying, so smart. In the end, I fell in love with the characters. You know how to write people, and ultimately that's what convinced me. Thanks for this :)

She could've popped on a pair of leggings under the dresstunicshirt. He is losing his shit with his want of her. He lost his job in the one place in Manhattan, he can always look for another one if she goes to college there. Then, when she graduates, they can come back 'home' to work and live. It is a thought.

This part, "Charlie. Shotgun. Job. Intern. Sixteen. Twenty-six. Wrong. Predator. Dateline. Chris Hanson.", was absolutely funny. He made me laugh. You made me laugh.

Ha! He had an instant attraction to her as well. Good to know. I do like that he is showing restraint though. And, that he thinks the age difference is bad. At least currently. She made me laugh with choosing to wear pants and a giant sweater in the morning.

Ah, sixteen . . . thought is was seventeen. Meh. Alice was very full of words. Sheesh, she can talk. Hopefully, she can work as hard as the speed she talks, lol.

Ten years is not that bad at all. Maybe it is closer to nine. Either way, not a huge gap. Except when he called her, 'little girl'. Maybe he did that so he would stop having thoughts he feels were inappropriate? Will see what happens as I read on.

Hmmm, somehow, I missed this story through the many, many years I've been reading fic. I am intrigued, that is for sure. I've seen much larger age gaps in many more fics. With the title, and the characters, I am guessing it will come to a point they may need consent. However in Washington, it is only seventeen. If her birthday is September, as it normally is in THE books and fic, then as long as they hold out until then, there is nothing illegal. I am thinking that Charlie may be okay with the two of them, if they start to have feelings for each other. Edward and Charlie are friendly with each other. Enough for Edward to spend time at Charlie's home and trust him with his daughter.
