Your writing stile reminds me of Douglas Adams. I hear Peter Jones in my head. Oh my god Molly Weasly as the headmistress of hogwarts? I always thought Minerva would ge tthat job, but maybe she has retired by now. I think it is actually good that the houses are gone, they were quite artificial imho an donly enforced rivalry and bigotry... Of course I dont like the police state that hogwarts has become though. Wow arithmancy being cut! The quality is surely declining. I bet ancient runes is too! What a lack of diversity and creativity. God Molly is a controlling busybody, she has really gone down the twist, She is even beginning to be a bit like a megalomaniac, what power can do to people... I wonder with whom Luna has married. Good God. Molly as headmistress is one hell of a nightmare. I'd hate to have attended her incarnation of Hogwarts. Hooray for smart witches and fidelius charmed potion masters. Loved the character of Coop and the whole scenario with the Sorting Hat.

Sweet butter! I know that Hermione and Snape are the central characters in this story, but I was most impressed with how you took Molly's most basic motivation - love for her family - and magnified it until she became that insane, control-freaky puppet-master. (Which, to be honest, I think is her normal state of being. Even in canon, that chick is not right.) Love the idea of the sentient ROR, too - especially the fact that it laughs!
