No you didn't lose the voice at all (and if you need refreshiment there are a couple of clips of the Spock/Spock Prime scene and Spock/High Council scene out on youtube. I use them whenever I need to "get the voice back")and the part where she's asking him to kiss her back and he in effect says he doesn't know how had me melting into a pile of self contented mush.

I loved how you had Nyota use his logic against him (not that he put up much of a fight) that was shadowed a bit in the scene where she uses his logic against him to get him to (deservedly) change her ship assignment in the movie, and it works very realistically and well here.

I'm almost sorry that this is going to end in the next chapter... reading this has been a complete pleasure and I hope it's not the last we hear from you.

I liked this part best, 'cause it's so funny:

Spock considered this, his eyes flicking across her face. “I find that oddly appealing.”

“I know. Isn't logic sexy?”

Now that he knows for sure that the feelings are mutual they were finally able to progress their relationship. I like the way he was determined to analyze every detail before they proceeded to her teaching him how to kiss. The Vulcan way of showing affection could come in handy later when they don't want to be quite as demonstrative in public. I really like the way she can get him to be his whole self, Vulcan and human. I'm looking forward to your epilogue.

I like the story a lot, but I'm confused by the references to Mozart at the end.
