| Tai'shar Westernesse chapter 2 . 4/15/2014
I absolutely love it! The style is nearly perfect, almost exactly the same as Sayers. Well done! I hope you post more chapters in the future!
| Doc M chapter 1 . 4/15/2013
Good fun! And yes, the pub is nicknamed 'The Bird and Baby'! But Tolkien was generally known as 'Ronald'.
| mlktrout chapter 1 . 11/30/2012
This was delightful! I could definitely see Lord Peter as an elf. Setting it during Gaudy Night was a stroke of genius. Only comment, wouldn't a friend have used Tolkien's name rather than initials?
Keep on writing!

What a fun little story. Thank you
Hm, I wonder how Bunter and Samwise would get along :)
| ShakNali chapter 2 . 7/20/2009
Clever mix! I like how you brought two of my favorite people together. I can see Peter (particularly as played by Ian Carmichael) as an Elf.
One little comment, though - wouldn't Tolkien's friend have introduced him as "James" or "Jim" Tolkien, not "JRR"?
