How would anyone even know Remus is a werewolf, nobody really knows he is until canon third year.

See the continuity at the end of this chapter and the start of the next... he leaves for King's Cross under a glamour. Within the first 50 words of the next chapter it says he is forgoing the glamour... it breaks the immersion a reader feels when getting into a story.

I know you didn't wrote this story, but I think the authors biggest mistakes aren't grammar, they're continuity. Early on it was states that James died when a burning timber fell on him durring the fight. Also, I was under the impression that Lilly was tortured into insanity. Now, James was hit with an AK and Lilly was put into a coma. There were several other things but those at the end of the chapter are glaring.

I can't believe I wasted my time on this, I was hooked because despite being a misogynistic asshole at times, This Harry sounded exactly like a bastard mix of Sherlock and Doctor Who, and I'm talking about those classic doctors who hate their companions and are arrogant jerks, but the frenetic energy as he solves mysteries is all there

I wanted it to be one of those stories where I accidentally click on the last chapter, because even though I liked, it I feel like I spent too much time investing in a slow burn that exploded before turning to ashes

Seriously, I know you say Harry is meant to be dislikeable but you sort of celebrate him too. It's hard not to think that this is also similar to how you see the world. Most of all, he's an utter misogynist. Correcting on 'unladylike behaviour', while being even worse. Criticising any female for not simply being completely prudish and virgin. That unplanned or teenage pregancy is simply down to someone's daughter being a slut. He's not religious but scorns anyone for extra-marital sex, even when fully safe and consensual. What for then?!

In continuity, in earlier chapters it's stated that James died from falling debris I don't remember any mention of a killing curse.

So Harry is not descended from the Peverells yet he is still chosen by the Elder Wand... WTF? I swear I wish the original author had gone with the cliche where Dumbledore borrowed the cloak from James and gave it to Neville instead of Harry because of the prophecy or something along those lines.

I can't really complain to you about this story as you are not the original author and you don't seem to have any inclination to add to it but I did find one point in the ointroduction rather irksome.

The potters are related to the Peverells in canon so why fuck with Harry's heritage? You wan Neville to have all the perks canon Harry had, cool but the author could have found a better way to accomplish that Personally I agree that there is an overabundance of Harry becoming lords of multiple houses, heir of Merlin, decendant of King Arthur, and so on. I personally don't care if Harry is richer than Scrooge McDuck and has some super mystical one-off magic that nobody but him can acquire byt why fuck with one of the few genuinely cool things about canon Harry?

The "author's" note (and having read this I use the term author loosely) should have warned me that this story would be both confusing and frustrating to read - pointless clichéd original characters and a storyline that actually drained the life out of itself. I should have realised that comparing this version of Harry to the character of Greg House was a warning that the "author" couldn't actually write a decent character at all. Don't waste your time reading this.
