| MrsMarySmythe chapter 20 . 8/30/2019 ah, I just love your writing style. it's so quippy, like Spider-Man in prose format. and this story really took me back in time cuz I graduated college in '09 and now I feel a smidge old. sigh. I enjoyed the premise, though many parts made me rather sad. I won't lie; I teared up when Darcy was saying goodbye to his sons in the alternate universe. even knowing that he would likely make things right with Lizzy in real life wasn't enough to make up for erasing the existence of Liam and Sam. I'm sure it's just the sappy mommy in me, but I couldn't imagine knowing that going to sleep would take my kids away...but I'd better stop there before I actually do cry, cuz I totes will. point is, sad as that scene was, it made me feel something and I could relate to it. that's good writing. it was a bittersweet story and I couldn't put it down. |
