Alright, so perhaps this is going to seem strange, but I have to thank you for something.

THANK YOU for not making Tanya the bitch from hell or the skanky waitress. Jesus. I absolutely hate that characterization because I feel that it is completely unwarranted and strange. In the Saga, Tanya did nothing that the rest of us wouldn't have; she made a pass, repeatedly, at Edward. It annoys me that she's the enemy in so many fics.

Anyway, all that said:

When Jasper called in for Edward and himself, I let out a happy little sigh. Is it odd if I think that Jasper's new role in Edward's life will help him heal, in some way?

Of course I'm praying he makes it. And I'm not really a praying kind of girl. *begs*

Anyway, watching the way they were received as a couple by Billy and Tanya was fantastic - a bit of a light moment in all the heartfail-ness. Thanks for the inclusion of that, really and truly.

This is shaping up to be quite beautiful. Thanks for posting it.

It was bad enough when Carlisle said it, but to hear the same message from Jasper was even worse. It proves that they both know him better than most people, and you sneaky writer, you, I read it as some very quiet characterization regarding the two of them. They care about Edward in ways he probably can't comprehend right now.

This is heartbreaking, truly.

But then I read your description of the two of them standing in the kitchen, Jasper's arms around Edward's waist, and it is among the sweetest mental images I can conjure up.

Their "I love yous" were perfect. I am partial to, "I love you, you know?" just because I am. It makes me smile, even though I kind of want to cry.

This chapter was just as touching and heartfelt. I love Jasper's commitment to Edward and I thought the conversation about the two of them at least taking a chance with their relationship was excellent.

Oh wow. I'm so glad I grabbed the Kleenex before reading this. This story covers a subject I'm not used to reading about, even though it deals with issues that have in some way affected many people in life.

No one wants to think about life passing so quickly, as there always seem to be things that still need to be accomplished.

I am looking forward to seeing how Jasper will help lend his strength to Edward, and how they will cope and live during an uncertain time.

I love the line about Edward feeling stuck in an emotional pinball-machine. I adore your story already! And even though I need the Kleenex, I'm so happy that Edward and Jasper have each other!

I look forward to following their journey. I'm glad that Jasper told him. I think Jasper needed to take that step that Edward wouldn't have done it on his own.

I love that Edward immediately missed Jasper when he woke up alone in bed. And, I love that Jasper cleared his week from work so that he could be with Edward.

I'm just loving these two. I can't wait to see how Carlisle, Esme and Alice react to Edward and Jasper being together; I'm sure they'll be thrilled...they've probably known the two of them had feelings for each other.

This is going to be an amazing story, I can tell from the first chapter! I haven't read an Edward and Jasper this emotional since All I Ever Knew and the later chapters of Over the Top. I love my Jaspward coupling and the angst just adds to it! Can't wait to go along the journey with these boys!
