sugar rae chapter 1 . 11/13/2009 Great chapter! I actually debated reading it because I wasn't sure if I was ready to deal with another story of hurt. I'm glad I got past it and was really pleased to see that no matter what happens with Edward's cancer he isn't alone and will have had love in his life. |
fanficfan1968 chapter 5 . 11/11/2009 love this story. have cried and laughed with every chapter. waiting for more to see how this is going to end. |
kinney-69 chapter 5 . 11/9/2009 Beautiful chapter as always. And damn that was hot! There were so many things I liked about it but this really got to me, just picturing it made me all teary eyed: "My eyes roamed over his sleeping form, my fingers soon following, unable to resist any longer. My fingers ghosted along his arms and up his side, tracing small circles over his chest, ever smaller until finally brushing against his nipple. His breathing had become more irregular at every touch, indicating he was waking up, and I let my eyes rise to find his fluttering open." |
mcsc2008 chapter 5 . 11/8/2009 Review given as running commentary so I don't forget anything I want to say or mention. *"My partner."* [happy sigh] I still can't adequately express how comforting it is to see Jasper and Edward love each other so well and so carefully and so much! My heart swells and breaks at the things Edward knows he must address for himself and for Jasper. I have a friend whose husband never took care of his will when he became ill with cancer. She and their children are now at the mercy of his family who never approved of her. His wishes don't matter to them because they know what is best. [jumps up and down in my seat like a school girl] They are gonna get a house together! Such a busy wonderful chapter. I'm sorry it took me so long to get to it but I love it and you no less because of it. Thanks for such soul-touching story. |
FarDareisMai2 chapter 5 . 11/6/2009 Yeah, this will definitely be a bring a box of tissues story. Already had a moment - started picturing my aunt. Fucking insidious disease. I can't wait to see where you take it. |
TexasTurtle chapter 5 . 11/4/2009 Well written. Thank you. |
faite-comme-moi chapter 5 . 11/2/2009 There's something really satisfying about reading about these boys. They are so perfect together, so content, so overjoyed to be together that it jumps off the screen. |
sessahhh chapter 5 . 11/2/2009 Good chapter - not just cause of the lemons (although they certainly help... a LOT). These two seem to go through so much everyday. Thinking about how realistic this story is makes it all the more sad. How often do best friends not realize if they just jump in and tell their other half how freakin in love they are with them so they can live happily ever after? Add the return of cancer and sh*t, I would be in tears every other moment too. I wonder how the rest of their friends will take the happy and sad news? I'm sure you won't disappoint. |
C-Me-Smile chapter 5 . 11/1/2009 Oh, I love this story so much! The depth of such sweet, supportive, passionate love that these two beautiful boys share is such a gorgeous thing (as is this story!). Despite the worry and uncertainty and the battle against this horrible disease about to be underway, they manage to keep the positivity and hope alive (which is so *so* important and key in fighting off something like cancer) through their undeniable love for each other. I loved how they addressed their issues about the future - about their health and legal concerns and that they are planning on buying a house together. The hope of that - the certainty - is so moving, and exactly what both of them need in this time. :) So many lovely parts in this - the cuddling, the shopping together, the understanding talks, and, well, of course, the absolutely delicious lovemaking! :D I really enjoyed this chapter and I am loving the story! |
TaraJo chapter 5 . 10/31/2009 So beautiful chapter, full of love and hope - despite the fact they had so many difficult issues to decide to. With this story I have realized how hard it really is for someone who has some bad or fatal disease, to keep on hope and hope to survive but at the same time prepare to die. In Edward's case I'm so happy he finally has a life he has always wanted and he's going to enjoy all the days there's left for him (I hope of course that there's so many of them and he will win this fight against the cancer!) and he has Jasper now to share his life with. The best thing they can really do now is plan their future together. And last but not least, the lemons were definitely juicy and delicious - kudos to both of you for this beautiful chapter! |
yankeesgirl4565 chapter 5 . 10/30/2009 Great chapter! I definitely loved the lemon. I'm so happy that they decided to move in together. I can't wait for the next chapter...Please update soon ) |
Betham chapter 5 . 10/30/2009 Well, it's been a couple days and I still don't have the words ... I love this so much ... your boys are so strong for each other, and so right for each other. I know there's going to be heartbreak - and I think I can take it - I just don't have the words to express my feelings. Love to you and SorceressCirce. |
PurdueLiz chapter 5 . 10/30/2009 I love that they're going to buy a house together! Yay. It would be so hard to have to tell your friends though. The love scenes are quite yummy. :) |
PurdueLiz chapter 4 . 10/30/2009 A lovely dinner. Again, I'm glad they have such a good support system. Love the idea of doing pictures. Not something most people would think about. The lovemaking scene was beautiful. Very touching. And of course, hot. ;) |
