OMG...I got all teary eyed when Carlisle said grace and then when Esme hugged him and Alice suggested the pictures. Oh God, I'm in utter heartfail for the rest of the evening. Gah, how did I miss this update? Two weeks ago?

This story is exquisite. I think it's the mark of a true author to produce distinctly different stories and you are certainly doing that. This story has a distinct tone and characterization of its own. As much as I enjoy At the Deep End, this story has a poignant, sadly sweet quality that makes my chest ache. It took no time at all to love these boys.

Thank you for allowing Edward to accept Jasper's caretaking. I like reading about Edward's friends and surrogate family rallying around him, showing him with their actions how much they support him. As a mom, I got a sense of the comfort cooking for Edward gave Esme. This was a way, uniquely hers, to make him feel better and to show how deeply she wants to see him happy. I'm glad you pointed out that he wouldn't have appetite or sense of taste once chemo starts. It added a degree of caring that I might have missed.

You and Trish did an amazing job on that lemon. While I was reading, I was thinking about how Jasper was showing Edward the way he intends to care for him, body and soul. Jasper was so thorough in taking care of Edward's needs, such an unselfish lover, I could tell that he was telling Edward he would do this for him in every aspect of their life together. This was something that went far outside the bedroom. As long as these guys have wanted each other, their first time could have been a consuming fire of frenzied lust. I like what you wrote instead. Their intimacy had the tone of two people who had been together for so much longer. I'm so happy to see them take this final step together.

Edward and Jasper are so sweet together. I am glad that Edward has such a strong family to help him through this round of cancer treatmet. Thanks for writing. :D

I'm so glad Edward has such a supporting family with him and a loving Jasper. I know though the hard times will come soon and I'm just so happy that they are going to save these special moments into their hearts and those photos Alice will be taking of them They have all those memories to remember and give them strength when they need it most.

I'm also happy they finally took the next step in their relationship and not just because of that very juicy lemon there, lol... They are so perfect and comfortable together, I absolutely adore them both!

I love this story. There is so much hope in it. I am sure a lot of tough moments will come, but I am really glad you are setting their relationships up so well before everything happens.
