Love this. You write Spock and Nyota very well-rationally, somewhat playfully, and very truthfully.

I like that Spock realized that he wanted Uhura to come with him. Nice.

That was pure perfection! I shall remember this story and your name to the end of time..or the end of this website, whichever comes first. This was so perfect how you made the monotony of Uhura's work and all the crew members' work seem so interesting, so eye catching. I think I it more because Spock has this perspective! I love the thought of him supposedly putting all his mental focus on his science station only to let his eyes -from time to time in a fleeting manner- gaze out of the corner of his eye, at Uhura's routine. Thank you for having dialogue for Chekov (I love Pavel) and alluding to Sulu (he's awesome too).
The last line was the icing on the cake! I how he said that by being with her-obviously not verbatim- he could be weightless too.
Guess who's adding you to her favorite author's list :g -smiley face-
High five your Beta

| HoldoutTrout chapter 1 . 7/1/2009
Nice! I love the way you write, and it seems to me like this story slides right into these two characters.

Excellent! I was so excited to see this in my in box! I truly love the cadence and fell it has. Loved the movie (all four times). So happy to read this. You have such a great talent with words. b
