Sad yet insightful a wonderful creation

Touching story... I wonder if she'll one day wake up in the world she created, as we hope all great writers will when they pass.

This was incredibly effective. It manages to actually provide the reader with an alternate interpretation of Haruhi that, while it doesn't mesh perfectly, still manages to make a good deal of sense. It's dark without being too dark, and tragic without reaching the levels of melodrama.

Honestly, there isn't too much I feel the need to say about this story. It's a little tale that accomplishes what it sets out to accomplish, and does it quite well.

I doubt you'll ever read this, or if you even want to be a writer/ wanted to be one, but I'm going to write a review anyway.

It's good, on the surface. The story has a clear plot and it drives a very sad point that makes the reader feel for it which is great, get the reader feeling for the protagonist and give enough background to make them feel engorssed. My issue is that the narration kept changing, first it was 3rd person, then it was 2nd person Haruhi, then it became 3rd person again, something has to be constant otherwise you'll confuse your audience and lose them, as people have short attention spans. Also, the bolding of some character's dialogue was strange and looks strange, I wouldn't recommend that. Otherwise it was a good one-shot, but obviously there were small flaws that get fixed with continual writing.

It feels like this should be required reading for Haruhi fans, as it is a stunning and creative interpretation of the entire series.

Wow... This was very sweet and made me wonder. I love the way you explained the general oddness that is melancholy, and how you did Haruhis character and Kyons. Well done by far one of the best fanfics!
