Heretofore, Amanda has made interplanetary social gaffes, gotten drunk in public, laughed raucously, dressed provocatively, emotionally connected with a 6-year-old Vulcan child (!), insulted the Vulcan Ambassador by asking if his impromptu marriage proposal was a joke - in bad taste - or furtherance of the contempt the Ambassador had shown her and Earth, broke into a High-Level Starfleet meeting spouting unsubstantiated outlandish claims and then bursting into terrified tears, emotionally coerced the Vulcan Ambassador to Believe her and Help, conned her way onto the off-Planet rescue team, had panic attacks, threw-up on her Starfleet babysitter 3x, and now seems to be looking for emotional comfort & physical release from the 'babysitter' unwittingly in front of the pining (?) & potentially jealous Vulcan Ambassador...

While Amanda shows chutzpah & familial loyalty, she is acting more like a ticking emotional time bomb. Let's just conclude that so far Amanda Grayson is not Earth's poster-girl for analytical wit, intellectual genius, or 'Grace Under Pressure'.
