| sarah999 chapter 1 . 2/8/2012
Another good story. Had some tears by the end of it. Very moving.
| The Dewed Tulip chapter 1 . 1/10/2012
I might be becoming a fangirl...I just can't stop reading these things! Noooo, Susan! Why?
| SomewhereBeyondReality chapter 1 . 4/9/2011
Truly touching story; sad but realistic loss of Susan but the interaction between the other three was perfect. I love the way that Lu and Ed were so worried they'd lose Peter as well, that growing up meant Narnia had to be lost.
"You will never lose me. That I promise."
The strong sibling bond between them was beautiful, especially the ending :) Good job.
| deviocity chapter 1 . 1/24/2011
beautiful story. a very realistic account on what could have happened when Susan forgot about Narnia and Aslan. the moment that sealed it all and proved that the Gentle Queen was indeed gone was when Susan slapped her younger brother hard enough to leave a lasting mark.
i loved how Ed and Lucy tried to save Peter from the heartache of knowing that they've lost the sister they knew and loved. The love and closeness between Ed, Lucy, and Peter just makes me all the more disappointed in Susan. At least Ed and Lucy have Peter.

Expect a lot of reviews from me in the next couple of... hours? minutes? I don't know. This was really good, and I think the different reaction to Susan slapping Edmund was very clear, and pretty close to the right characters. Shrug. I've always had a hard time finding advice with a story that I really enjoyed, so I won't try right now. This was really good, and you did a great job writing it!
| linny-marie chapter 1 . 12/19/2010
Despite the fact that I despise Susan, this story might just be what I needed to at least semi like her. And although you portrayed her as somewhat evil in the beginning, I just love the end! It's so perfect and beautiful. It's one of your many stories that has made me tear up/ cry.
Such a marvelous story! Do keep writing more Narnia fics! I absolutely love them!

There's Queen Susan the Gentle. Very well done.
| Starzinmieyez chapter 1 . 7/26/2010
So sweet! So emotional! But I don't see why anyone would need tissues- it's not THAT sad. But still, great job :)

Probably one of the best Narnia OS out there. You manage to stay in character and to write something compltly believabele I read it three times already :D I love it so much. I love how Edmund tried to hide the truth and argued with Lucy about that, how they then tried to act as if eveything was allright in the household when it wasn't...
And then when in that terrible moment Peter heard them arguing with Susan and learnt the truth...How she had slapped his brother and stopped believing in Narnia and then when Lucy told him of their fear, that he too would forget et the reassurance...
I love how you wrote the Pevensies interaction the way the spoke with each others, how they act, how they are...You remained true to C.S. Lewis work. You respected him, writing them like true characters and not marry sues or girly (sometimes incestual berk) boys.
Thank you a lot. I enjoyed it so much. I will remember it...
The end was great too... Paul F. Ford did say that Susan "he might change to become truly the gentle person she has the potential for being." and therefore go to Narnia where her siblings and family would be...
Though I have a question "remembered that he had essentially raised her—essentially raised all of them; had taken care of them when their parents couldn’t and nearly gotten killed (several times) because of it.
She knew that whatever debt Peter felt he owed them, for whatever reason his mind had come up with, they, in truth, owed him far more. She knew Edmund and Lucy felt the same—and that, passionately. But she did not like being reminded of those ties to another life, to another Susan."
Then this does mean that she too remembers Narnia ? If he saved them countless of time, if Edmund reminded her of that Susan...

Very sweet; I'm glad that Susan is shown as having feelings, too, and regrets what she's done.
| Kirsten Erin chapter 1 . 10/20/2009
And her motherly side comes out. Oh, I'm so happy that Edmund saw her do it.
I love the characterization of each of them. Very well done! I especially loved the part about Ed and Lu caging Peter in in their sleep.
Very well done!
