I have read this story so many times over the years. It is one of my favourite stories, let alone fan fics. Particularly love your descriptions of Bella’s connection to the elements. Oh yeah, and I would love a greenhouse like the one in the Swan house! :)

Good story. Well written. You took an issue between E&B and expanded it to nearly everyone, especially C&R. Bella's parents made bad wrong choices and kept making them. Nearly cost the lives of B&E. B was basically r***d because they could not / would not communicate with her. Lauren did what Renee did, fortunately no lives lost so she wasn't kicked out, maybe ironic that Lauren was the one to tell Bella what Renee did. Other people weren't much better. Did Charlie lie to Carlisle in reporting on Bella as she grew up saying she was being trained while they hid everything from Bella? Returns to the coven and everyone seems to think she knows things and she hasn't a clue because her stupid parents. That coven does not deserve Bella. Good thing she was raised outside so she wasn't trapped into their box of rituals and thinking the leader knew it all. Bunch of stupid characters.

alternating elements without center witch is a good alternative.

Strongest witch would be Bella and Edward standing together.

think it is a good thing that she was not brought up in the coven, they need a breath of fresh thought and energy. Just have to figure out a balance.

a little ST Vulcan philosophy? control emotions and work with elements...from what we have read from Bella's POV seems better to acknowledge the emotions and work with them. Interesting sending Gramps Cullen to Alaska, recognize his interference to some degree. Wonder if they were hoping for Bella and Edward mating even without knowing her powers. Hope B&E learn to be more open to each other and the other coven members.

EPOV helped. Thanks for that info. Even not being completely settled in their pairing they came together and presented an united front to deal with Lauren. Gramps Cullen is a problem, wonder how they will deal with that.

They are underestimating Bella. She has had so much thrown at her and she is still standing.
