Um.. every chapter has an example of Alice, Rose, and of course Esme showing Edward care and affection so I don’t get why you’ve added that line “..but who takes care of Edward?” It doesn’t fit or apply. At all. I think you’ve made Edward sympathetic enough being told to suppress his emotions by his father and grandfather.. you don’t need to suddenly switch it up like his mother and sister are oblivious to his feelings/needs when they’ve coddled him, clearly cherish him, and are always telling Bella to disregard his attitude because he’s under so much pressure. The real question is “who’s taking care of Bella?” I mean, in this same chapter Bella wishes her mother was as comforting as Esme is so that’s pretty contradictory.

I understand her being angry that they didn’t explain things to her in the beginning about being a witch, especially about imprinting, but I feel like she’s overreacting. What more can Renee possibly say? Her explanation made sense to me and they’ve apologized plenty. They were ordered to come back and trick Bella into pledging. Renee was in denial about having to be back in a town where she’s experienced traumatic situations and is hated. She could not properly deal with it. Bella has alluded to her mother being mentally unstable even before they moved back. She shows obvious signs of being bipolar and manic. She’s living with a lot of guilt in top of that.
Honestly, Id be more disappointed in Charlie, he seems emotionally removed from his wife.. They’re suppose to be soulmates but he hasn’t been around. I can’t totally blame Bella for avoiding her mother when she’s in such a state but Charlie should be helping Renee more.. they both ignore her when she’s depressed and Bella just let her stop the lessons without confronting her

Every time esme or Alice gave an excuse for Edward acting like an jerk to Bella, I thought it was ridiculous. He might be under a lot of pressure but he’s only rude to Bella so that excuse does not apply! He was signaling her out and it should have been more obvious to his mother and sister. Esme had to have an inkling as to why. She should’ve talked to him and told him not to be so judgemental, he was holding a grudge against Bella for Renee’s mistakes. And Carlisle’s father sounds like an ass.

It was really rude of them to get so angry when Bella rushed to her parents and hugged them at the door. It’s been days since she seen them. They should’ve let her see them before the party f they didn’t want a scene. I guess they were hoping now that Bella imprinted with Edward, they could send Renee away again and she wouldn’t have a relationship with her mother?

Lauren’s got a lot of nerve, doesnt she? If Bella wasn’t a fire element, their classmates would’ve been suffereing from severe burns because of her stupid prank! That’s not very different than Renee’s situation. They’re in the same boat, in my opinion, because Renee just didn’t have someone to step in before things got worse. There weren’t even sprinklers in that room. Her punishment should’ve been more because clearly she doesn’t see what she did wrong. She’d have been kicked out too, if Bella didn’t help and if her uncle wasn’t the leader.

They’re just now realizing she knows nothing about imprinting, really? They were there when Jasper gave her a history lesson and left out mating.. How else was she suppose to know.. They’ve been laughing and teasing her this whole time and now they’re saying they understand why she’s been weirded out? Ugh, so rude.

Why isn’t Alice a Brandon? It’d make more sense to have more representation of the 13 family’s in their group. Why do they need 2 Cullen kids

Bella behaved like a brat...her parents had years of betrayl and heartache...dealing with a lot...and its all about her...me me me me that is all i hear. Edward has treated her like shit and the cullens have bossed her around and treated her parents like garbage. She needs to grow up...i want to kick her ass.

They treat bellas family like shit...that needs to change. They are quick to banish them but hesitate when its their own family...laurens “punishment” was a joke
