Those bad dreams of hers feel foreboding. Something big is on the horizon. I'm a little put out with Bella, though. She's expecting Edward to share his feelings with her, but she's still keeping so much from him. She shouldn't expect him to talk if she isn't willing to. And at least Elizabeth seems to have faith in their combined abilities. Great chapter!

Secrets all around... I have to wonder how successful Grandpa Cullen, then Carlisle have been leading the coven with keeping their emotions out of it. Poor Edward has been raised to think being an emotional robot is the best way to lead. Hopefully Bella can help him see using them is more beneficial than not. Her emotions, connection, I think is what makes her so powerful. Great chapter with lots of explanations!

Two steps forward, one step back. Love their growth to here, though, as compared to only a few chapters back. Carlisle, eh, not so sure how I feel about all the adults at this point, aside from Esme. She's awesome :)

Grandpa Cullen is not a nice man. Wow! Can anyone say power trip? And he's not even the coven leader any more! I was happy to see Edward stand by Bella and support her through all that. Off to read one more for the night!

That explains sooo much! I feel so bad for Renee. To just be discarded and ignored had to be painful, especially when her best friend was part of it. Hopefully ExB can work to get past this and learn to trust each other.
